How does the game fit the theme?
You're tasked with piloting a new ship for the owner of floatsalot cruises. Though he insists "Nothing can go wrong" with his ship or the voyage, mechanical failures and an unexpected visitor prove him to be a liar.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The music was made by Dimitrios Kapoukranidis, before the jam and we purchased commercial rights as we have worked with him and his incredible music before. SFX and everything else was made by the two person team during the jam

its a really good and fun concept

Very relaxing and well made :) I really liked the style and exploring all the different buttons :D  Graphically it's gorgeous! My passengers were very pleased with their service :)

Very cool concept! I got really carried away while trying to deliver the "unfortunate" passengers.

I'm not a fan of this kind of simulators, but it turned out to be quite exciting, I finished it somewhere on the 10th try.

The music, rain and weather perfectly immerse you in the atmosphere, and the smoothly appearing ice floes always keep you on guard.

It will be interesting to know if there are plans for the development of the game?

Such a nice game! It reminded me Elite Dangerous or Truck Simulator, where you relax and sometimes press different buttons. But I tried a lot and couldn’t get even halfway there :(

Developer

Thanks for trying so much! If we keep working on it we'll have to make everything easier to understand.

I love the music and the graphics. But I don't know how to use some of the buttons:

You're not the only one! We added the tutorial screen to the game page to help a little :D

Cool graphics, a bit glitchy, though its fine for the jam.

Looks very calming and cute and i bet it gets intense later i love the fact that you have diegetic volume buttons tho they didnt wanna work for me on the browser still love it looks like itd get very hectic later on the monster made me shout what the fu- fluff cause I didnt see it coming

Very fun and polished. I want to suggest using screen effects while steering, It could make steering more engaging, also you could use "balanced for fun" acceleration system

This has a really nice atmosphere. Both relaxing and stressful. Several times I got damaged by something I didn't see. It might have been an iceberg that I didn't notice, I'm not sure. It would be nice to be able to look out side windows or have some other way to know what's going on outside of the narrow front view.

Thanks for playing! I agree, if we work more on this game we'll definitely add that!

didn't open, gave me some kinda executable error but i rated it anyway

Developer

Hmm this is the first I've heard of issues. You tried to run it in the browser and got an error? What browser/OS? We've tested on mac and windows and never seen a problem

What a vibe. Loved the audio in this

This was beautiful!! I really enjoyed the SFX and music, and the sea monster looks amazing!

There I was, having a nice relaxing boat ride, dodging icebergs and suddenly a sea serpant bit off the front of my ship. This is great.  The atmosphere really pulls you into the experience, would love to see more of this.

B E A UTIFUL. What. A. Vibe. Really enjoyed this one. You guys would be doing your self an injustice if you dont flesh this game out and make a release of it. Also that water shader was

Love your water! The audio and atmosphere was really well done as well

This is a really cool idea!

Cool calming game with a pleasing simple art style!

Very impressive!
Things didn't go quite to plan... I only made it about halfway on my first run but I had fun.

The music and ambience was amazing. That combined with the tactile interface gave Maiden Voyage a strong sense of place. Lots of potential here!

A really really good submission, im surprised you guys were able to create such a game this quick, really impressive. The graphics and audio are almost top notch, gameplay felt unique but felt a bit boring at times, I wouldn't call it a massive flaw tho. Its really enjoyable, good job you should be proud!

9.5/10 :D
