How does the game fit the theme?
The theme is "Nothing can go wrong..." my game fits this theme by causing you to lose entirely if anything goes wrong, a twist on the idle game where normally you cannot lose

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
Many art and sound assets were from free asset packs or asset packs I have purchased

How many people worked on the game?

Really great idea, I really like it. Very stressful but very rewarding at the same time, could definitely be expanded into something greater! But overall a really good job! Well done

This game is really fun!!! Not much feedback i can give, but add a pause button and musics.
Overall, this game is really well made!!!

This game should get way more visibility. If it was for me it will be in the top 10 of this gamejam.

I think the collider of the items you have to put away should be a little bigger, and some background chill music would be great to, besides that, this game is 10/10

Developer(+1)

I do think some chill music would go a really long way! I'll definitely be looking into that for a post jam update! And glad to hear you liked it so much!

Fun twist on the classic idle / clicker game where you can't be idle at all. It was pretty difficult initially and I lost a couple times quickly, but overall it's very fun and made me want to try again. Nice job on this!

Damn I'm only the third person to 100% this. Should've got here faster.
Very funny take on idle games, and feels very satisfying to play. My one piece of feedback is rsi. My arm hurts from all the clicking this took. If you could make this require far fewer clicks it'd be perfect. A couple of ways you could potentially do this are making the blue button holdable instead of needing clicks, maybe even making this an upgrade, or removing the blue button and making it just the minigames.
Developer

I appreciate the feedback! I felt by the end when people would get up to the max of +5 seconds per click they still tended to click much more frequently then they needed. I think the idea of being able to hold is nice, I think some form of upgrade to do that could be very interesting!

Submitted(+1)

Oh the clicking problem was even worse for me, I avoided spending points on the seconds per click upgrades. It felt like a waste when I can just click faster. I only upgraded when my hand started hurting and I realised its importance, before limping to the end using my left hand for slow clicking and my right hand for the minigames.

As for the more frequent clicking, I think it's because of the way the timer works. Waiting 5 seconds between clicks means that if an activity pops up just before you click, you functionally have 5 less seconds on your timer. I think you could maybe fix this by allowing one more click after the activity spawns; allowing overflow when clicking (as in if you timer is 10 seconds and your per click is 5, and you click at 9, the timer does go up to 14, but you can't click again until its less than 10); or of course, implementing holding would also fix this.

Developer(+1)

That's a really interesting way to think about it, and I'm very interested in the "overflow" idea. I've been working on an update for post Jam and I think some form of that will make it in!

I don't know how I can put this nicely.... The game is extremely annoying! (And I mean that in a good way) Basically, by making the idle genre totally backward, you've made a game that forces me to sit on my chair for an entire 10 to 15 minutes without even being able to get up and go to the toilet! This design is very innovative, and I think this plays much better than a traditional idle clicker. The minigames are also a nice addition to the game being not too hard but just extremely annoying, fitting the game perfectly.

For a criticism, I would 100% suggest adding a pause button. and just let us rest for a short while before continuing to play. The reason is stated above. Other than that, this is indeed an interesting game. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! And I definitely agree, for the jams purposes I felt like the no pausing was fine but I intend on expanding the game post jam and a pause button will definitely be in the final version!

What a fun concept! The mechanics were simple and easy to understand but still super fun. Love a number go up game, I was able to buy all the cosmetics! (my fav mini game was the toggle button one) Great job!

This is how far I got before I let the timer go down. Honestly held my attention for a long time

I too love a number go up game! Thanks for playing!

Nice job an innovative approach to the idle clickers and the only thing I wish to be the first levels more forgiving.

Nice work, loved the small stars sprite ! But i hoped to see a starship and i did not see one ^^ ! Are we the pilot ?

Developer

I actually wanted to add some easter eggs along these lines and didn't make it to it stuff like that. And yes we are intended to be the pilot of this shi

I clicked this so much.. And had a blast doing it! Fun game. Great job!

Hey man pretty fun game!

Submitted(+1)

I played this a lot longer than I intended to. Simple, engaging and fun.

Played this for way longer than I should have 😅

Very satisfying and fun, but the difficulty curve is a bit janky. In the beginning, it's extremely difficult, later on it turns into an endurance challenge.

Great job overall!

Developer

It's extremely encouraging to hear that you couldn't put it down! I appreciate the feedback, if I had more time I think adding more difficultly over time would be what I did, I had some ideas but it would have been difficult to implement them in time

I thought it was too hard at first but some of the tasks are easy enough so I didn't rage quit haha.  I think on your tutorial screen if you add a visual queue that shows what you're supposed to do, that would greatly add to the experience.  This is a really cool idea, love the quick minigame burst!

Developer

Visual queues on the tutorial screen is a great idea and if I work on the game any more is probably something I'll add!
