How does the game fit the theme?
You are a fragile egg attempting to perform difficult jumping platform puzzles (and die a lot in the process due to all of the things going wrong).

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
We did not make the background music, the font, or scene transition shader used in the game. All other assets were made by us from scratch during the jam.

Finally beat it after 64 minutes... wow what a game. Love this very much. It's very hard but is very satisfying once you complete it. The level design is nice, the environment is well-designed, and the platforming challenges are top-notch! And is the multiplayer there just trying to make us see how bad we are doing? lol, anyway Well done!

Nothing really to add really, the game is quite well-made. I'd say the final area is a bit unclear about where you should go, but I guess finding out the proper way is also the fun of the game. So on that note, this is a phenomenal game, good job!

Congrats on beating it! Really appreciate the time you put in as there are so many games to look at in the jam. And yes, the multiplayer is mainly so people can suffer together lol. But I think it can be encouraging in a way, since you can see other people struggling or you can show them how to do things differently/the right way.

You make a great point about the final statue area. I was running a little short on time and didn’t get to polish it as well as I would’ve liked, but I agree it can also be fun to have a little bit of exploration in these kinds of games too.

Ya, there are a couple of spots where the ledge detection raycasts are overly sensitive and you can get sucked into geometry like that haha.

Very fun 3D platforming! Easy to navigate around. This game feels like a midsummer's afternoon dream. Crazy how much two people can achieve in just a week. Eggcelent submission with this one!

This was a cute platformer. I love the shtick of being a fragile egg. And seeing where other people had died was interesting. I don't really play 3d platformers but I spent quite a bit playing this, it was fun. I managed to get one of the post-tutorial crowns (the one at the top of the brick tower) which is probably the best I could hope for considering my lack of skill.

Oof, that's a really hard game, wow! I loved it; it's honest, stressful, hard-earned fun like a good platformer should be. You got so creative with the level, and I think you really put together something great. Not to mention the funny death markers that made me wonder, "Is that jump really that hard?". The answer was "yes" more often than not

I am shocked with how many features you guys were able to implement in the span of 1 week. I can definitely say that it is quite packed for a game done in a 7 day interval. You guys ither had too much time on your hands or were very time efficient.  

Man i wish even more games had the feature of having other players deaths marked.

Hah, ya definitely spent a ton of time working on this. I personally like the stress as it helps me get faster and learn things quickly in these tight deadline jam scenarios.

I had an absolute blast playtesting all of the level designs and attempting to speedrun it afterwards. Some of my friends are getting close to sub 3 minute full speedruns which is insane.

A pretty hard but fun game. Controls feel pretty good and the visuals are nice.

Very nice and fun game :D The Online Multiplayer part is pretty small, but also very impressive! I couldn't adjust the Camera Controlls with my Gamepad, so I had to play with keyboard and mouse. Felt pretty good tho. Nice and fun little challenge! Eggs!

I only tested with an Xbox controller. What kind of game pad did you use?

I played it with an 8bit Do Controller, which basicly "emulates" (wrong word, you get the idea) the input of an Xbox Controller. I also played the brower version, so maybe that didn't work out either. It normally plays likes a normal Xbox Controller tho.

Thanks for the info. I’ll have to do some research as to why that doesn’t work with Godot’s controller inputs. My controller worked fine on browser version and downloadable exes, so I’m not quite sure what happened.

Yeah, you where right, loved it lol
Even though I was stuck with 6/8 eggs and couldn't collect the last two. The one where you jump over the blue roofs, no chance to reach the final roof where the egg is and the very last one, not because I wasn't able to make jumps but because I didn't know where to go from one point on. But I absolutely love the death location feature

A well-crafted game! You achieved a lot in the short time of the game jam.

I really like how you guide players through the gameplay—every sign has its own meaning and purpose. I know how important instructions are for a game, but my team spent so much time just finishing our game that we didn’t have much time to create them properly. That’s why I think you did a really great job!

By the way, I also love the small, cute details that don’t affect gameplay but add charm, like seeing your broken eggshell after falling. And the cheer function—I’m guessing it’s meant to help teammates call each other in co-op mode?


I also noticed that you take the time to thoughtfully review other people’s games. If you don’t mind playing a horror game, could you try ours and give us any feedback? We’re hoping to develop it into a full game, and we want more comments. Thank you!

Fun casual game. I especially like the main character design, dying animation and the relaxation of the game. The only thing that has a bit of room for improvement are the controls. They are a bit clunky sometimes (e.g. holding onto objects), but other than that you managed to create a really cool project! Would appreciate if you also played my game. ;)

I would be curious if you had specific spots in which you could point out to me where holding objects was difficult? Based on your comment I checked over all of my objects and found one that had a bug (just fixed it), but I’m not sure if that was the issue you were seeing.
