How does the game fit the theme?
It's just another platformer, so nothing can go wrong, right?
What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?

This game looks aesthetically nice, and I really wanted to enjoy the game, but the input dropping on jumping makes the game unbearable to me. Sometimes when you press jump, you just don't jump, which is frustrating since the game is already challenging me through cool level gimmicks but I keep dying due to an issue that isn't my fault.
Regardless, if that was fixed I would probably really enjoy it! Good work anyways, game looks really cool!
Thank you for the feedback. About the bug, we actually noticed it and tried to fix it, but it’s a problem with windows browsers. If you download the game it works and if you play it on Mac in the browser it also works. So we don’t know how to fix it. (If you want to try again, try downloading it)
Fun lil' rage game y'all got. I think out of all the rage games I've played for this jam, I like this one the most. Only really have a couple notes of feedback:
1) the cutscene for the boss kept replaying at the beginning when I'd die. Know the game is supposed to encapsulate rage and annoyance but I felt like I only really needed to read that beginning text once and not like ten times.
2) I kind of wish there was more to it than just platforming. Don't get me wrong, this is the best feeling rage game I've played this jam, however, I don't feel like there is more to it than it just being a rage game platformer. Like it doesn't have a mechanical twist in there that surprised me in anyway or that felt super innovative.
Other than that, game is solid and polished. Y'all did great!

Nice little ragegame! It surprised me more than I want to admit but I ended up finishing it!
I enjoy the trolling mechanics of the level design. They felt playful without being too unfair. One suggestion- perhaps the dialog sound could be lower in the mix. If you're prone to failure (like I was) you'll spend a lot of time listening to the dialog text...
Nice work!
Love the minimalist art style, got totally annoyed. Couldn't jump sometimes when I was grounded which added to the frustration. Great game
Please play and rate my game as well, thanks!
Amazing visuals and audios ! Really fun game
I love when so few colors are used in games, it looks great. It' a little short, and the mechanics of trial and error are a little boring. But ending with a boss fight was great, some of these games have no climactic end.
The minimalistic design is awesome! Really fun to play :)
I knew it was coming but it still got me! Love it, love that its fun and keeps you on your toes!
Nice game, really love the visuals! some of the spikes are a bit too fast though tbh
Really love the style!
This game's mechanics are very well made! I enjoyed interacting with the world, the movement and platforming were fluid. I did find it a bit difficult to keep playing the level over and over again and trying to remember exactly where certain things were, but overall a great effort for the genre.
I like it. I'm not the biggest fan of rage games, but this wasn't that bad. Not being able to skip the dialogue on the boss was a little annoying since you kind of restart a lot in a rage game.
Wow this gives me ahuge vibe of I Wanna Be the Guy! The gameplay is fluid and sweet, even a boss battle at the end too! I like it very much!
For some criticism I'd say the boss battle itself have too much downtime, I'd rather the fight be more difficult but you instantly get back to the action, rather than waiting for 30 seconds or so to start avoiding attacks again. Also, please have fast forward in the dialog box, I think the level is so short that you can basically completed all levels during the character talking. It's a waste of good text to be honest.
Anyway, you've done a good job in a single week with this game!
Thank you for playing the game! And also for the feedback, we will remember it if we work on this game again.
It pretty and works well. It requires precision and reflexes, so some improvement could be done with input buffering, and kayote time. There is a boss ! For some fairness, traps could be preceded pas some particles.
Nice work! The art style was great. I found the same as other folks, with the amount of restarting you do per level, it would be nice to not sit through the dialog every time.
Loved it. Loved the visuals. Nice boss fight. And some very funny traps haha.
Fun fact: It was NOT just another platformer! I loved it so much! The gameplay deserves exceptional praise!
When I was around level 3 with the projectiles I realized a crouch mechanic would increase a lot of options for this game! So much potential here! Please try to expand this later :)
Edit: Like others said, maybe the dialogue should be skippable when restarting (especially in boss fight)
Thank you for playing! These are nice ideas. We'll see what the future holds...
I loved the bossfight! The issue is that everytime the bossfight restarts, the dialogue also restarts, very annoying.
Thank you for the feedback!
Thank you for the game! Loved the art. Really enjoyed it overall (even if it's of really frustrating haha). But sometimes the jump key doesn't really respond well and I find myself not jumping.
Thanks! We tried to fix this bug, but it's a problem with the browser. When you play on windows in the browser it sometimes doesn't work, but if you download it or if you play on mac, it does.
