Very fun and polished game. The obstacles would spawn right in front of you after going through the door, which was annoying. Nothing else to say, very polished game.

Developer

Thank you! I'm glad you like it! I've come up with an idea to fix that, thanks for bringing it up!

Very fun and simple gameplay, random levels are a nice touch.

Developer

Awesome! Thank you!

liked it, though could have more for the environment, and as well as some of the blocks are impossible to evade but i tried to go through multiple times and the innovation and theme were top notch! goodgame!

Nice and fun! + simple! :)

I wonder how you did the music

other than that all good!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Great job! Maybe you could possibly beat my score of 650! Our music was due to our composer!

Really nice idea, dashing through door with random generation. The concept is great. I would have liked to get more variety of level designs.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah I get that. Right now, there's a total of 10 levels!

Boppin' soundtrack, also really enjoyed the transition effect going through the doors, that was definitely a cool feeling.  Powerups were also a nice touch.

Didn't realize you could double jump until I read the comments, game was a lot harder until I realized that haha.

Developer

OMG! Lol its in the "How To Play" in the main menu too!

Submitted(+1)

Quite simplistic gameplay-wise, but really a lot going on with art/music. I enjoyed it, though at first I didn't know there was a double jump option and was struggling a bit - maybe add that in the description?

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it! All of the controls are in the main menu as well as graphics!

Cool concept, I really liked the music and backgrounds. Awesome job!

Developer

Thank you! Definitely thank our composer and enviromental artists!

The idea is there, I think a few design elements would help out.  The platforms that kill the player look identical to safe platforms.  They are also quite difficult to dodge, especially as the screen moves quickly to the right.  Backgrounds were really nice, the foreground looked like a very different art style.  SFX are good.  Nice take on the theme.  Pickups were very welcome.

Developer(+1)

Awesome! I'm glad you liked it! Yeah you're definitely correct, the obstacles could be a bit light or maybe a different color.

I love the idea of picking between the different doors and having to save your jump up to get through. That's a really cool way of handling an infinite runner and marrying it with the theme. I actually played a few times to see how far I could get and was bobbing my head to the music. I liked the use of the pickups too! Nice job!

Congrats on finishing the jam!

Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm really glad you liked it!

Really liked the idea! The sound sfx is specially great! Maybe consider adding a sliding mechanic. Overall, great job!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I was thinking about that during development! Which is a great idea!

Great game reminds me a lot of some smash bros maps I've played. Good job on the sound design and the mechanics are pretty cool.

Developer

Super Smash Bros maps?!? I am honored that you said that LOL!

I really like the procedural aspect of the game! I will say the game world does feel a bit empty, so a few more obstacles in the levels themselves maybe would help? Other than that it handles pretty nicely, and I like the autoscrolling concept because of the powerups you get.

Developer

Thank you! I can see what you mean about the emptiness! The longer you do the run, the more obstacles will spawn!

Fun game with a lot of replayability. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it, and I thought it was impossible until I realized I could double jump from the menu.

The only issue I ran into is when I dashed through a door one time it immediately killed me because I spawned in touching the left side of the screen. Great idea to make the power ups something that you chase, I definitely ran into a few walls because I was chasing the power ups like a mad man lol.

Nice work!

Developer(+1)

LOL! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Oh man, can't be chasing them like that lol
