Although I was confused the entire time until the end, I enjoyed the game, you guys managed to create a very atmospheric world and create some kind of mystery around those things with the messages, good work :)

Love the atmosphere! Keep up the amazing work! The main menu added a lot of good impressions to me. the gameplay entirely was very very smooth. The darkness in the game also makes the game very thorough and nice to play! The music fits the game as well. Also, the animations indeed strongly put the game in its unique section unlike other games. Again, keep up the great work!

Really like the atmosphere the game creates.

First I just started building the bonfire, cutting trees, then I went north and found my way out. The theme idea is super cool, although I'm not quite sure how successful the idea is, if there is no guidance from the game and it leaves everything to the player.

Interesting game though :)

The grayscale art is beatiful :D I have chopped almost all of the forest then sun came and the game finished :o Not having a goal was an interesting approach to the theme. Overall that was a nice experince well done :D

Note : I would be happy if you could check out my game as well :d

Simple yet beautiful artwork, combined perfectly with the music to create a nice atmosphere. I was preparing for something to happen, then the game finished and I read the message. Reminded me that sometimes I need to relax and just enjoy my surroundings. Great game!

I really like the atmosphere of this game and I have a soft spot for black and white design which is a plus! Though it was unclear what the objective in the game is, it was all fine. Just listening to the music while exploring, cutting trees, breaking rocks was all truly relaxing.

Though I've always wondered what the number on the top center meant?

Developer

There really wasn't any objective so i can see why it was unclear:)

The timer is the time of the day, and the sun rises at 6.00.

Glad you liked the art and music:)

Really love the atmosphere and visual! I quite like your take on the theme to give no real objective to the player and let them create one for themselves. It's a simple and relaxing game, I really enjoyed it! Well done!

Thanks a lot, glad to hear it:)

the game had a calm atmosphere which i really liked, the art style is so good but the player doesn't really fit in. I don't really understand what i should be doing in the game but i did trigger the end screen for some reason so i guess i was doing something right, the controls were not that great, sometimes the fire just refused to take the wood and the tree chopping is a little glitchy with the camera. Keep in mind that i usually point out the negative things in games so don't feel bad about this rating, this game has so much things that it could offer yet it just missed the mark for me.

Developer

For tree chopping you just have to stand close to the tree, and then it will happen automatically, I see why it can be a little hard to find out, but we didn't wanna do a large tutorial either. For what you should be doing, just about whatever you want:)

There really isn't an objective, and the end screen triggers no matter what. But I guess you went out an looked for some of the events around the map. Thanks for playing, and thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it a lot:)

Overall a great game! Looks cool and the game is very unique! Would love to see some animations while cutting the tree tho :d ,Other than that its great!

Pretty good game, and interesting to speedrun. My time was 47,8 seconds. Try to beat it!

The game was an interesting experience.  I wish there was more to do but overall I like the thought of coming up with your own objective.

Developer(+1)

We tried coming up with a few couple of things to do other than tending to the fire, but I guess a few more wouldn't have done any harm. Thanks for the feedback:)

Developer

I do think it is a good game

Really nice game! I love the art style and music. You should try mine out, it has a similar explore vs. tend to experience.

Developer

Thanks:)

The game was quite enjoyable even when I felt that I was going in circles, but for some reason the text stayed on the screen after I left the monolith(?) things.

Glad you liked it. Heard about that bug from a friend aswell, it didnt ever happen for me while developing, so ill probaly look into it:)
