Cool game! The inventory and popup dialogue system were really cool and impressive! I also liked the sprites of the enemies, they were charming. There were a few things that felt off about the game though for me. First was the controls, they were so spread out that I felt like I needed 3 hands to hit every button needed. Second was the combat, I feel like the swords attacked too slow and the enemies didn't do enough damage to be threatening, so I would just run past every enemy since I didn't want to go through the trouble of killing them. Definitely cool how many systems you implemented tho, just needed a bit more polishing!

The theme is really good, but I felt kind of lost, the game didn't guide me too much. For example what are the boar and siren items for, where am I going? Also the control binds were super weird: arrow key, space, w, mouse.

You did implement a lot of things: combat, inventory, dialog etc. , so good job overall :)

PS: some sounds would have been great :/

Very cool game! I like the art and music a lot. The concept is a very unique and creative. I think the first enemy you fought is a bit too tough consider you only have the weakest weapon and have to fight off hoards of them before getting a better sword is maybe too hard.

Other than that, very nice game! Good job!!

Very nice game, the enemies all were a threat in their own way, and the animations were cool. Controls were a bit weird (for a right hander), as I needed to use the arrow keys and mouse, instead of my usual WASD and mouse. Really liked the interpretation of the theme! Some sound effects would really make a great addition to the game as well.

Now I realise how weird I am... all games have both WASD an arrow keys, but I always play with arrow keys. Well, thanks for pointing this out, I'll make WASD movement after the jam.

Nice work! Well done for tackling things yourself, the art was cool and I enjoyed the death animations :D

I liked the storytelling throughout the game and I thought it was a nice interpretation of 'less is more'. I missed the second weapon on my playthrough but it didn't matter in the end haha. Good submission :)

Thank you so much! I like the golem's death animation the most. You're right, sound effects would help though.

The goal with the swords was so that you can miss either the 2nd or the 3rd sword and still be able to finish the game. I'm glad that worked out well!

The game was a bit too long, and the control was a bit awkward and if you added a swing animation the combat would have been more entertaining. The map was really big and hard to navigate, if you added a map it would have been a lot easier to see where I should go. But the monsters were pretty creative and their attacks were pretty nice, but please add checkpoints so I don't have to start over when I reach the boss. The music was very fitting.

Yes, there was a little swing animation when you attacked, sorry for the misunderstanding, i meant that the sword should swing over the attack area, instead of the red circle.
