Really fun game and i love the ebb and flow between being powerful and powerless
The visuals, the sounds and music were all great. The health - ammo mechanic is really nice and fits the theme perfectly. Also liked the text shake before the last boss.
The beginning of the game felt too easy. There is a speedrun timer (which is a really nice touch) for better players, but still, I think the first half of the difficulty curve is too flat.
The bosses were great, the last boss was really creative and gave a challenge.
One small thing maybe is that most of the rooms felt super empty (empty rooms or empty rooms with a few walls). Some cosmetic props would have spiced the rooms up, like barrels perhaps.
All in all, I really enjoyed the game, my criticisms are minor, awesome job! :)
PS: This reminds me of Enter the Gungeon.

I am amazed by this game. It is so well done! Good job!
Really clever idea, sacrificing your health for ammo. All the enemies and bosses work really well with the concept, and the music is great. My final time was 15:17 (probable quite slow, died at the end a few times!)

Wonderful game, i'm in love with the soundtrack it really has Undertale/metroid vibes, but the gameplay also hits the theme on the head, really great project well done!

I love the dynamic of reloading and shooting, and watching your health for everything you do is very fun!
This was awesome! The main mechanic was implemented in a really smart way and having to stand still while reloading made the whole thing complex in a nice way! The revive animation was also just very nice :) Good job!

A simple but complex game, absolutely amazing.
Catchy music, easy to pick up and an all round masterful piece.
The reload freeze really added an interesting mechanic and changed up gameplay.

I really like this game! Very cool and balance mechanic and lovely art and audio. I had a blast playing this.
My feedback is maybe just hold down left click to rapid shoot and the use the right click to reload, and maybe allow the player to move when reload. It's kinda awkward to reload in the middle of a fight for me.
But overall, great game! Well done!

Nice game :) i liked the mechanic where you need to use life for ammo. Even with this mechanic the game felt balanced, boss fight was epic! One thing to maybe improve is that there was one level with lots of spikes and it was very hard to dodge them all because the dash was far enough to hit the next set of spikes.
