Very cool game! Loved your use of lighting, a lot! Also really enjoyed your simplistic art style and SFX/music. The tutorial was a fantastic little addition that helped me understand your inventory mechanics much better. For some reason, the tutorial ran smoothly, but the game itself was a little choppy. Not unplayable, but a noticeable drop in performance. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed the concept with low visibility. Overall, great submission!
And thanks again for playing our game live on your Twitch channel! Watching you play was very helpful and your feedback was great. You're very kind, but honest. Hope to stay in touch!
I really liked the sound design, and the lighting looks really good! The movement felt a little slippery though
Well that was a nice experience :D I love the flashlight using it makes you really feel like a burglar. The music and the sound effects were top notch. I had problems with the web build i think there is some problem with the code? Other than that it was impressive how clear the tutorial was. Also the isometric design works very well with the game :D
Ovearll i liked it great work :D
Fantastic game. I like the visuals, music, and sound. The implementation of the theme is good, but I'm not sure what the gems are used for. I think there should be lights in the hallways so players can see them more clearly.
One last thing, why are the levels multiples of 2? Its was a bit confusing, but didn't hurt the gameplay.
The light was absolutely phenomenal; it made my first few moments of exploring feel really, really exciting.
However, after running through a number of empty rooms and heading down a few stairs the slightly repetitive environments and overlarge environment became a little less exciting to explore. This also definitely wasn't helped by the fact I encountered no enemies until late on in my first run.
The tutorial was nice and super helpful, but I'd maybe build it right into the game so you play it when you first press start, to ensure everyone does.
It's a great basis though; think you could morph it into something really special if you made those environments a little smaller and more populated with unique objects.
Nice job! :)
Very good game. The controls are very soft. I think it is very good that there is a tutorial, so that there is no big confusion in the controls. I find the art style looks well done, even if the rooms are really empty sometimes. The opponent’s design was also varied and creative. Maybe it would be a cool idea if each opponent has his own dead sound and not all sound like a cat. The music has rounded off the whole game very well and the sound design gives a good feedback. The theme has been fully met. Very good game, with maybe a few small improvements like a minimap.
Good graphics and mechanics ! I had some lags on my pc but except this it's fun to play !
The graphics are very cool, I really like the style that you choose. The music aswell, it really gets you hyped up. But I had some problems with lags... maybe the game is to expensive for a WebGL game or you have some performance issues with your code ?
Anyway great entry, loved the feel.
A cat that burgles and has a third eye?...brilliant! but where are my 9 lives? :P Game is easy to get it into but I did ended up dying from the green monsters because apparently they still hurt you when they are dead....I suppose their toxic like body should've been a dead giveaway so that's my own fault. :P
Is it rooms automatically generated ? The light system is awesome. For the movement, don't use Force for it. Consider using manually the velocity of the rigidbody. Bonus, the tutorial is awesome to introduce the game mechanics.
the tutorial ran smoothly for me, the rest of the game glitched horrifically
