I thinks this a 10/10 in my opnion on the gameplay part. Really neat puzzles with a good concept for a good indie game that i would totally buy on steam just to get 1 year to beat cuz there are alot of courses. The music when you beat the game is great, i just wish there was music during stages but thats okay. I finished with 373 deaths, its great to just drift away with the plug hahahaha

Thank you very much! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks for playing!

227 retries! I'm bad but not enough to quit. Super addicting game. The design of each level is really well thought out, difficult enough to get you but fair enough to make you want to keep playing when you die over and over. Also, really well done on gradually implementing new things that affect the plug. I like the music at the end and at first I wished that there was some bgm, but somehow the quiet seems more fitting.

Developer

Nicely done! I'm glad to hear you found the levels design and mechanics engaging.

As for the music (or lack thereof) I originally wanted to add some main background music, but I couldn't come up with anything I felt fit the game in the time I had left so I decided to leave it silent. My thought was that the silence would have a "zen" sort of focus effect versus having a short loop which might become grating as the player plays through the game. So maybe in your case my decision worked out, lol.

In the end I came up with the end screen music in about the last 30 minutes of work I did on the game as I wanted to have the game end on an upbeat feeling once players had cleared all the levels.

Thanks for your feedback and thanks for playing!

This was a great challenge, and it had one of my personal hallmarks of a successful game: I wanted to keep playing until I beat it. It's that kind of compact and polished challenge I like to see, and I'm glad I got to play!

Developer

Thank you for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This game was so much fun! Simple yet challenging.

And the ending was just sooo creative and well done hahaha
Don't want to spoiler anyone, but you know what I mean :)

Very cool submission~

Developer

Well done! I'm glad you enjoyed the game and liked the ending!

Thanks for playing!

Wow that's quite the improvement! Thanks for the update; It's really motivating to know that people continue to play my game!

You are welcome :)

A fun game with a neat concept. The fact that you respawn so quickly after dying makes the game very addictive; it means that you get the feeling "just one more try" repeatedly all the way until finishing the game!

Developer

Thank you! I intentionally made the respawns very short for that very reason so I'm glad you picked up on that.

Thanks for playing!

This game is absolutely awesome! I love the new mechanics introduced throughout the levels!

Glad you liked it! Thanks for playing!

Very nice art and smooth mechanics. The music however was a bit lacking.

Developer

Thanks! I wanted to do more with music for submission, but I had to prioritize other features over making music and unfortunately I ran out of time.

Thanks for playing!

the hitbox might be a bit more genereous :).

Developer

Something I could definitely look into in future changes.

Thanks for playing!

Awesome game! Love some of the different elements you added like the teleporter, and the redirection circle. Makes the game feel even more fleshed out. Beat the game in 6 minutes and 48 seconds with 48 retries. Not too difficult would definitely play this game again if more was added.  Nice Job!

Developer(+1)

Nicely done! The different elements are something I definitely would like to expand on in the future as I feel they add a lot of variety to the game.

Thanks for playing!

I like these games when a simple mechanic is explored in multiple ways. Challenging but keeps you wanting to win, good job!

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it and thanks for playing!

I feel like in a certain level I had to stop playing. It's a fun and great game but it gets super challenging. Inversion of the controls areas especially. Maybe it's because I've not played enough of games that invert controls

Developer

Difficulty is definitely something that I would be more aware of if I were to continue working on the game. Over the course of testing the game, I became used to the difficulty, so it was harder to imagine how a new player would feel playing the game.

However, I'm glad to hear that you were able to still enjoy the game despite the difficulty. Thanks for playing!

Was super difficult . I went through all the emotions denial, anger , happyness , sadness all of it. The game at first reminded me of snake than reminded me of mini golf than at the very end it reminded me of the Pokémon puzzle you solve in the arcade in pokemon fire red.

Developer

I never would have guessed my game would be capable of creating such an emotional journey lol. I'm aware that in testing my game so much I kind of lost sight of the difficulty of the levels, but hopefully you had fun anyways.

Thanks for playing!

It is hard but fun! I also got nostalgic because there was a game where you have to controll the orange juice so it gets to a green spot on the map.

Developer

Hm, not familiar with that game, but I'm glad to hear you enjoyed my game.

Thanks for playing!

it is called "The Line Game: Orange Edition" there are also Lime and some other editions

Best game so far. I was so bad I was laughing in tears XD

Wow, thank you! Glad they were tears of laughter and not frustration lol. Thanks for playing!

I my entire life, i didn't realize that how the plug is cute like that. Your artwork is so cute and game mechanic is so interesting. Nice game!

Developer

Haha, thanks! I went for a minimalistic approach to the visuals so I could get them done with the little time I had left in the jam, but I'm glad to hear they still had some character to them.

Thank you for playing!

Simple but addictive, Love the concept of the game! Each time I died, I was like: one more try, please!

Some curves are too narrow, maybe a slow down button will be nice for those levels that are more difficult!

Nice entry!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! I'm glad to hear you were motivated to keep trying. If I had more time I would have definitely tried to balance the levels a bit. I was playing them so much while testing I got used to the difficulty, so my perception of how hard each level was became a bit skewed lol.

Thanks for playing!

218 retries... This game was my favorite of the jam! It hooked me with that "one-more-attempt" feeling. The art style was clean and level design was perfectly challenging!

Developer

Wow, what a great compliment! I'm glad to hear you were hooked. Thanks for playing!

Interesting idea but I think the difficulty starts off a bit hard too soon. I never used the space bar to speed up because I always felt like I needed to slow down. Maybe players could get a higher score for finishing levels faster and that would encourage them to push a bit more.

Developer(+1)

I was definitely rushing at bit at the end of the jam in order to create a bunch of levels, so the difficulty isn't as balanced as it could be. Especially because I was playing through the levels so much while making it, I became used to it, lol. I think if I were to flesh out this idea more, I would add some incentive for players to try and master the levels like you suggested.

Thanks for playing and commenting!
