Cool game, I like how it allows you to continue playing even if you die.

My feedback is that it can be a little too easy to miss coins especially those from a boss fight. I'll also admit I skipped straight over the main menu as that was far too cluttered and then only read I had like 2 other weapons that I didn't use.

I love the music, but the game just ended and cut to menu just as it was getting really good.

Cute character, and well programmed! I feel like maybe it doesn't really follow the theme? But It's cute.

The neon tetra is a small fish that looks like it glows in the dark a bit. We adopted that idea and went for an ocean-based approach with bioluminescent fish but kept the neon city background as a more obvious link.

Thanks for the clarification! Bumped my 'theme' rating up by an extra star.

I really liked the gameplay in general, the art was very harmonious, the music was well-fitted (especially in the part where the boss appears, it was really cool), and the combat modes were interesting with some caveats.

I didn't find much difference between the difficulties, I managed to get through them all easily, I also found it a little strange how some collisions work, by the fact that I can go through an enemy fire and have no collision with enemies.

As a suggestion I think the scream is too overwhelming to the point of taking a good part of the boss's life, and I also believe that his range is too high, as it spends some time without spawning enemies when I use it.

And another thing would be where the attacks are created, as they appear a lot at once and a lot on top of them themselves, which ends up overshadowing one of the strengths of the game, which is art.

And lastly what I missed was an animation or maybe programming that would animate the attack, like a boing when the attack came out, for example, I found the jellyfish very hard when it releases the attack, I think that would improve.

But even so the game was a lot of fun, a point of making me play until the end.

Finally, these were the errors that occurred to me:

-Error when I pressed endgame when I died

-Error when I was in deep mode and I pressed C

And if you've read this far consider leaving your rating or feedback on my game too!

Very cute mermaid sprites, colors were really vibrant too :) I found the boss fight a bit too easy tho. Also the game crashed  sometimes. But was overall a fun game, good job :)

Beautiful game! Nice character design, very appealing. Very good use of colors and patterns for the projectiles, making it easy to detect them. The soundtrack is top-notch!

The boss battle brings Touhou vibes. I liked it, good job!
