This game has achieved an arcade retro sensation!
Great in-game music and visuals match the retro theme.
Easy to control, plays fast and control is very responsive.
When you crash or fail,  you can only blame your own mistake!

As we grow older we often dont have much free time for games, so this game is perfectly suited as a game to pick up and play for just a few minutes during a break.

Great work on this! I believe its as complete as a game of this style can be.

Suggestions:
I know some difficulty and retro authentic sensation is achieved by keyboard control, but please add an optional joystick control for wimps like me :P

I have already added joystick control and a bit more of frontend. Will upload later.

Nicely done, and the clear favourite of my 5-year-old :)

Great job on the game! You’ve capture that arcade-y feel of “just one more try” and the music is goes along with it really well.

I literally laughed out loud when the music stopped in the moon level

Developer

Thanks - it cam be annoyingly addictive. My 15 yeat old us determined to get to the end. And I'm glad someone got the moon joke.

This is really faithful to the original but I also like how you added some new ideas such as the moon levels and the bus jumping levels. Only thing I really miss from the original is a level skip. Some of the later levels are really difficult and I burn through my lives way too quick. Overall a fantastic job!

You are true BBC connoisseur! Nobody else would know that i added on some extra levels for variety!.   Moon level ia delibrately different to break up the rhyyhm of play. Difficulty is so hard to judge and I didnt want to make the game too hard. I have completed all levels in testing! And you have the added strategy of trying to build uo your stops (not in the original) through good, courageous and lucky play. Thanks for your kind words.

A simple well-executed game. It plays ably and fits into that easy-to-learn, hard-to-master category. Perhaps joystick support would be an excellent addition.

Yes - kept to the original controls buy have already updated the game with joystick controls (and a bit more of a frontend) since the compo ended. Will upload post judging. Thanks for your kind comments.

My 10y old son and me had a lot of fun playing your game. Thanks for this.
It is really easy to learn, but hard to master ;-)

Developer

Thanks - glad you are both enjoying the game.

Pretty nice 8 bit feel characters, I love it. Since this is simple rule and simple control, I played multiple times and excited. Because I don't know the original game, thanks for reviving

Thanks guys - that was exactly the vibe I was going for.

I love this. Proper addictive. Nailed the 8 bit pixel perfect look and feel. Controls really nicely and runs super smooth. Good work

An addictive and fun game.
Retro music and sprites get me back in  the 80s.
