Can't get it to run, unfortunately, on either Brave or Safari (the only browsers my computer doesn't freeze while using); the concept seems really cool, so I hope to play it at some point.

Sorry for that :(
I had a similar issue with my entry to another game jam.
Some Mac users were unable to run my game, both in browser and downloaded. Either there's something wrong in Godot exports for Mac, or this is because of my inexperience with the tool... some missing settings or the like.
I'll definitely investigate on this... so sad you can't test my game :'(
I liked the game , especially the art.
-Sometimes dragons only appear on the bottom , which is against reflection.
-The cannons disappear even if the dragon isnt there at the point where clicked which seemed unrealistic.
-Tower life decreases when the dragon has passed the screen and not the tower ,it looked a bit bad.
My score was 5000.
To sum up , it was a good game.
Thank you for sharing your comments.
- Sometimes dragons appear only on the bottom because they are invisible to human eyes, but they still reflect on water... like vampires, but the opposite way ;)
- Cannon shots disappear on top because they actually hit a dragon (visible on the reflection)
- As to the tower hitpoints... the original plan was to have the dragons stop in front of it, and shoot fireballs until you get rid of them... but time was too tight for me... Thank you for pointing that out
Glad you still liked the overall game.
And well done for hitting that high score! :)
Double theme awesome job man! Loved the feel of the projectile physics. Music was perfect, but might have benefitted from a projectile sound maybe? Just a suggestion. Maybe a power up for a little variety, but i get it... time crunch! Great submission.
Thank you for the feedback!
Yes, that was my first plan: the castle should have had a sort of hitpoints bar, and the dragons should have stopped in front of it shooting fireballs... but that was all too a big project for a weekend jam. I'm already very happy to have been able to complete it in time :)
Good score indeed, well done! :)
The art and music are great and I really liked what you did with the reflection :)
Thank you for appreciating the graphics! I made all of it by using a copy of aseprite I've decided to purchase just for this jam. Simple yet powerful drawing tool!
As to the music, I've just spent some time looking for a perfect fit by browsing the bensound.com royalty free music catalogue.
Glad you liked the reflection :)
Thank you for the feedback!
Unfortunately the music is not mine...
I give credit to bensound.com for that :D
Nice little game that looks really good. Really liked the artwork.
Don't know if it's just me but the game doesn't really scale for me and looks tiny on 4k screen.
I see you are also using godot. You can enable scaling/stretching in Project Settings -> General Tab -> Display Section -> Window and set Stretch to 2d and Aspect to Keep.
"looks tiny on 4k screen" AHA! because it's not supposed to be played on big screens!!! :P
I'm pretty new to Godot, this is my second game (and second jam). I will definitely think to big-monitor-players next time :D
Glad to hear you liked the artwork!
Thank you for playing and for sharing your feedback :)
Cool game! Great art and good use of reflection. The shadow dragons were a nice touch and made you spend most of your time looking at the reflection which in turn made it harder to shoot regular dragons, a good mechanic.
I really enjoyed your game! The art was awesome, the audio was fitting, the game was very bitness, and your game was very theme relating. Your game was also very unique! Your game was awesome overall! The only two thing I did not like about your game (1) The icon does not represent your game that well (Your Icon is like 16x16 pixels, but everything in your game was like 64x64 pixels (Awesome art)) (2) The UI is a bit small. Both things are just my opinion. Over all very strong entry, good job, and keep it up!
Thank you for playing my game and for sharing such detailed feedback!
I agree about the difference in resolutions between the dragon and the rest of the graphics. I started with the 16x16 approach, then I messed up with different resolutions and I never went back to refine the dragon :'(
Glad to hear that you still liked it. Thanks :)
I loved your artwork, especially the details, like the shooting stars in the sky. The game got really hard for me around the 2000 score mark. But overall, really really cool!
Great idea. I thought it was gonna be a bit dull until the reflected dragons showed up. Only critique is it gets a bit repetitive quite quickly. If you carry on working on it, maybe add different enemies/weapons. Good entry though.
