I really loved the game feel. The art was above par.  The game was very one bit. The game was also very polished. The audio was fitting, but needed background music. The game was would have been very fun, but the controls were really weird on my computer (I kept messing up shoot and jump).  One last thing is that it was really frustrating when I died because I had to redo a ton of what I just did. Overall good game, good job, and keep it up!

Neat little game, good graphics; glad I read the comments first about shooting upwards or I would have been a lot more frustrated. 

It's short enough that I wasn't bothered by restarting when I died the first time through, and the second time I got hit all of once. :>

Wish there was music, but the sound effects were excellent. Good stuff.

Yeah, even though I wrote it in the game description I think I should have hinted at that during the beginning in the game itself.
This might actually be the reason people having a hard time to beat the reactor room.

Fun game. I like the robot art and the controls were smooth. Was a little difficult to hit stuff but that's probably just me. Good work!

Good idea.
I did'nt like few mechanics in the game
-The robots does'nt attack even when we are next to it
-Drones fire even when the robot is standing in the dark.
-When robot goes down with the lift we will not be able to shoot drones , but they can ,their bullets pass through the wall which seemed a bit bad.You could make holes in the wall.

Thanks for the feedback, but I don't understand some of your points.

The driving robots were designed to be similar to super mario gumbas,
would you also make them shoot bullets? Once you touch them they actually "attack" you.
But maybe you mean the drones, they don't attack on touching yeah.

The lamps are actually just decoration in the game but I can see that it can be confusing, especially
when using this 1-bit palette.

I found the dodging during the elevator to be fun, I haven't tried it but actually being able to shoot the drones during the ride could actually make it harder since you then would have to dodge the bullets and shoot the drones at the same time.

I did it to completion on my first try (beginner's luck, I guess) :D but yes: checkpoints would have been useful.

Liked the pixelart graphics and the inversion of colors under the lights :)

I made it to the reactor, but I died super quickly. I didn't have the courage to try again when I realized I have to start over. It looks beautiful! And good progression too, till you reach the reactor room. Good job!

Thank you! Checkpoints are a thing that I'll focus more on in my next games.

Sorry if I sound harsh, but this game feels unfair. Not only battle bots' bullets are nearly unavoidable, there's also a huge punishment for death.

You'd better implemented some kind of checkpoint system instead of the dialog thing (at least a way to skip the cutscenes). I died 4 times and quit, not seing the ending. The room with reactor is the worst

You are totally right with the death thing. A checkpoint system was planned but I couldn't manage to implement it in time.
The reactor room was the last one I made and didn't have time to properly balance it. I tried to place more batteries and found it managable
but I see where you are coming from.

As a tip for fighting the drones: If you shoot quick enough you can actually destroy their bullets. Also for some drones in the
reactor it is best to keep distance so you can react better on their bullets.

Yep, I don't have that much problem with most of the drones, but the ones that require you to get close are pure hell (they're also moving up and down and sometimes can shoot you in a way you can't dodge or parry)
