Charming and fun.
I really liked the appearance of the game, the character designs are very nice. The songs are great, combined very well with the game.
The game's gameplay looks strange at first glance, but it works perfectly. The enemies and power ups gave a good highlight in the gameplay.
The intro is also great and really well done.
All in all, I enjoyed playing it, the gameplay is simple and a bit slow, but the game has its charm and value. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a lot for the feedback!
Good Job! It's well done in terms of execution, but I think it needs to get to wave 2 that little bit faster, wave 1 is a tad dull to me.
Thank you, and thanks for the feedback!
I think this is a great and polished game. I played up to level 6.
Small feedback: there was some confusion with what the bucket did, as it seemed to fill to 5000 and then go back down. Also, when I pressed escape to attempt to pause it, I was not able to get the game to continue.
I liked the feeling of the game, seems like most of the mechanics and themes are fairly well integrated. It plays very smoothly, and was quite fun :).
Thanks for the feedback! You need to fill the bucket until it reaches 0. There is no pause button, so if you are playing on the web, it is better to just click outside of the game for it to pause. Thank you!
Cool, thanks for the clarification :)
Love the character designs.
The starting weapon was quite interesting and unique, although I did find it a lot more exciting when I was able to shoot projectiles :)
I only got to wave 4, but will be back for a few more playthroughs.
Thanks a lot!
Interesting game!. Sounds are very satisfying. Intro was amazing (nice animation). You can play and rate my game too. Don't forget to give feedback.
Thank you very much! Yeah, I will play your game!
This was a fun arena survival game! It runs very well and everything seems to work. I like the different weapons. Each one has a use for different situations making unlocking new weapons feel good. Swapping between weapons also feels good for this reason. There's no delay so you get to use each weapon as the situation calls for it.
I can't really think of anything that needs to be changed. There's room for expansion though if you wanted to do that. If anything it was a bit easy, but that's not a bad thing for this style of game.
It's a really solid and fun experience. I liked rotting their bones with my giant lollipop. Great job!
Thank you so much for the feedback! In the game tests, I was using an image of a cylinder and a circle to represent the player's initial weapon, and I ended up liking this lollipop-like shape, and that's what ended up making it into the game. The fire lollipop...
The animations are cools and the storytelling is rare during a game jam so it is appreciated
I think the bucket is a little too long to fill but apart from that, really great game :) Good job !
Thank you! Yeah, for the jam it would be better if it was less energy to fill. Thanks for the feedback!
Great storytelling. Looks like a fun RPG with good sound as well but the weapon switching doesn't work (neither the Numpad on top of the keyboard nor the scroll of mouse)
It is not working because you didn't got more weapons! You need to play to at least the wave 3 to 4 to grab a new weapon of a new type of enemy. Thanks!
Ohh, my miss then. it'd be great to show that in instructions inside the game as well.
Yeah, it would be good! I will add more information in a future patch.
The art assets (especially the cutscene) were fantastic! Nice job!
Thank you!
A well-done and interesting game, love the storytelling way!
Thank you very much!
a nice polished game! great art, music and sound effects!
Thank you so much!
Good game! I liked the animations and cutscene!
Thank you!
I got to wave 8, it's very slow to fill the bucket. I completely loved the kiting mechanic, will definitely borrow for my future games. The weapon progression is fun, the spawn of the enemies is very cool, sometimes there is more flys, other times there is more mages. But very hard to finish filling the bucket. Great submission.
Thanks for the feedback! It takes about 9 - 10 minutes to fill the bucket, at the wave 9 to 10 it is suposed to be filled, maybe it would be better for the jam if it was faster. Thank you!
Simple and fun to play, with a cool premise and presentation! With that being said, pressing 1, 2, and 3 to change weapons didn't work on my end I was able to switch with the scroll wheel but not with those buttons, I also think you could maybe find a way to not have the initial cutscene (as awesome as it is) play after every loss cuz it took a few seconds for it to be skippable
Those minor things aside this is really good work!
Thanks for the feedback! I think that you were pressing the 1, 2, 3 of the numpad, but it only works at the numbers on top of the keyboard. And the initial cutscene is skippable after like 2 seconds of it, but I think that it would be good to have two buttons after a death, one that you see the cutscene again and other just skipping it and restarting the run. Thank you!
Art is great, controls and animations were smooth, great one!
Thank you!
Really enjoyed the art style. The controls were smooth and intuitive. Nice one!
Thanks a lot!
Really fun to play and the art is well-made. Great jam submission!
Thank you!
The art is very amazing and the animations are cool!
