I really enjoyed this! The juxtaposition between the two realms and the way the game plays into it with its RPS setting is really amusing. The choice of music does really well in conveying the atmosphere of the two realms!

I think it's a wonderfully silly RPS adventure, I had a good laugh.
This was awesome. Made me laugh, it was really well done, and it's super fun. Great job!!
Quite addictive! As other have said, the undertale vibes are well done! I died against the boss, I have to train harder and face him again 💪🏻
Oh ! That game is fun! I liked the upgrade of weapons. It makes this classic system more interesting and that a quite original point for the gameplay. The atmosphere is cool, I enjoyed it. Nice entry!
I like this. It's a fun, goofy rpg. The dialogue is neat and the mechanics are solid. I like all the kooky characters! The music and aesthetics fit it well, and it is a creative use of the theme.
On the battle mechanics, I like that you can kinda tell what each opponent favors, eliminating some of the random element. It still has a bit of random chance, but it makes it so there are definitely better moves to make overall. I think the only real challenge ended up being the sealed guy, since his stats are so much higher than yours. In the case of expansion, I wonder if you could add more tells on what the opponent will choose aside from their damage numbers. In some poker games, the characters have visual tells about their hand, so that might be an idea to play with.
Great job overall, and may Clueless Clarence finally find his way home!
Interesting battle system for a game as simple as rock paper scissors, the upgrades definitely add some depth to the game. I enjoyed the tonal change between the two worlds, the change in palettes and music really sold it. The Undertale inspiration is unmistakable, the dialogue was amusing and gave me a few chuckles as I played through the levels.
Really interesting twist to RPS by making it feel so fast paced and dinamic, and being able to upgrade your attacks. The contrast between the Light and Dark Worlds fits perfectly with the jam's theme.
Great Work!!
The battle system reminds me of an old nintendo game I used to play when I was a child! Love it!
Make it a bit more predictable, by having them talk about their moves or countermoves or something :)
And the shift between the world is amazing, the atmosphere and the music changes and I like that kinda contrasts a lot :D
Solid game!
Thank you so much for the thoughtful feedback we really appreciate it! We never explicitly mention it in game, but the enemies' moves are actually weighted in terms of how strong each attack is, IE an enemy will be more likely to throw scissor if scissor is their strongest move. I think we should definitely include that info somewhere in the game's starting dialogues to make the battles have a stronger sense of predictability
Great game! I really liked the character design and music, the gameplay was very fun too. The fight mechanic is quite creative but as of now you can for the most part just update one attack and only use it.
The game was great. Nice choice of musics and cute pixel art. Good job!
Cool game, i like the fight mechanic but its kinda easy. You can upgrade only one stat and use it(i beated boss only using paper every time).
Yea we realized in development that the game was too easy if you just max everything into one stat, so we had to either make it difficult and punish players who spread out their stats or kept the game as it was and made it really easy for players who exploited the level up
I feel like there were other options we could have done to balance the leveling a bit more but it was too late at that point. We'll definitely look into it tho!
It's an excellent short RPG with funny dialogues and goofy character designs. Really love the differences between the light world and the dark world. The combat itself is surprisingly not as RNG-based as I thought since each enemy has their strengths, weaknesses and preferences.
