Nice. I jumped around and moved the ninja. Impressive you figured this out in a week!!!

Wow this is amazing! Well done, super impressive for the gba in one week!

It was a pretty great video, I'm interested to see how the two compare

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuueUYnwtKo

I did not use a game engine, it was made in pure C

Very fun to play through, I love the art and music! The story is very well done and the wind mechanic is fun to play around with

I speedran this game on stream with a PB of 5:35.33! Let me know if anyone beats that. Even with that time, I had to reset the last level twice, I got to the last level at 4:40. 5:00 is definitely possible! Also, to the devs, I love this game. I would love to see more levels developed, or if you want I could develop it more! let me know, discord: majesity#3351

This is a great arcade style game! Very simple concept, yet so addicting! It's so satisfying to convert humans into zombies, with the pixelated effect and sound. Also, the music is epic. When you gather more zombies it seems that the amount of FBI agents that spawn increases linearly to the point where there is almost a max on the amount of zombies you can have since so many of them get shot. One small place to improve on is the tutorial, I feel like instead of having the player move and step on those buttons you could have a mini demo that transitions into the start of the game or something. Other than that, it's an awesome game! I love how the city is randomly generated, and it's a nice little easter egg that the statue is randomly one of the devs! I had a lot of fun streaming this today, thank you so much for showing up!

This was a very fun game! The mechanics are solid and the color palette was nicely chosen. I really like the design of the UI too! I found out that in later levels the way to go was to use the head to destroy the enemies, as you couldn't get too close to them to punch because there were too many bullets. Starting at level 8 it gets harder because the enemies shoot directly at you, so you really need to use the rolling mechanic to your advantage. There's something really satisfying in the beginning levels with one-hit killing the enemies with the hat on. I would suggest to add a 'how to play' screen in the beginning explaining all of the game mechanics. Maybe a cool feature to add would be a projectile that you could shoot when you have the hat on or something? Another suggestion I have is to add some way to regenerate health so players can go further in levels (You should definitely make more, I would play them!). Anyway, I had a lot of fun playing this game on stream today! Thank you for showing up! I swear I need to beat level 10!!

This game was very enjoyable! The graphics are incredible for being developed in just a week! The gameplay was fun, and the music provides a mystery ambience. The mystery was very well written and I like the diary entries and doctor/psychiatric notes, they were very authentic. The whole time I didn't know who to be sus of and that's a sign of a good mystery game. Overall, nice job. Thank you for showing up to the stream today!

This was a very fun game to play! I enjoyed the fact that you had to type out the attacks, it makes you feel more immersed in the game. It's cool how the attacks fit the theme with virus names. However, I know other comments have mentioned this but the game does not fit the theme. Otherwise I love it! One thing I would do is make the first few computers a bit harder. They were pretty easy, I just spammed trojan and worms and I was good. I like how the final NASA computer boss fight was challenging. Personally, I would have liked an info section for what each attack does but I know that you mentioned it was intentional to have the player explore the different attacks. Either way, it was a very cool and innovative game. I like the Pokemon fighting style and it's cool that you unlock the computer's special attack when you defeat it. Yeah, I didn't have enough time to make a tutorial video. I spent the first two days of this jam doing something completely different before I came up with the idea for this game. But, I learned a lot about time management!

oh my gosh that's embarrassing, yes it must have been my background music. I like listening to 8-bit music but i just assumed it was part of the game since the graphics are pixelated. Turn based mechanics sound interesting, I'd be happy to play test them if you want.

Awesome lol. Yea thank you so much for staying in the stream till the end. I'll announce further streams in my discord. If you wanna join, here's the link https://discord.gg/qbUBg2tjED :)

Thank you :) I will be streaming more in the future, feel free to stop by. I'll announce it in my discord: https://discord.gg/qbUBg2tjED

This was a very fun game to play! I love the mechanics of the game, having to manage two players at once with left and right clicks. The levels were fun to play. One thing is that level 5 is very luck based, as the robot in the beginning spawns randomly and sometimes you just can't get past it. Other than that I really enjoyed it! Thank you for showing up to the stream today! I will be streaming more, make sure to stop by again :)

I love, love, LOVED this game! Everything about it was so much fun, very well put together! I'm a big fan of the pixelated graphics, and I love the game music. The mechanics of the game are very smooth, and the game gets more challenging as the levels progress. It never gets boring as every level has something unique about the way to solve it. I love how there are three stars that you can achieve for each level and it's optional to get the pink ball, it allows people to either do a casual playthrough or to go hardcore and speedrun. I like how you drop into the claw grabber machine at the very end, for some reason it makes finishing each level satisfying.

Thanks for showing up to the stream today! I would love to see more levels get developed for this game! This game is one of my favorites so far. I'm interested in potentially speedrunning this on stream in the future!

I really like this game, it was an interesting concept. I like the artstyle, how the lines are constantly moving like someone is drawing them. One thing I would improve on is I would make it so that you could rotate the polygon with q and e but other than that the mechanics were awesome! I like how it got challenging and there were new types of enemies introduced when you got into further rounds. Thanks for showing up to the stream today!

This game was so much fun! Something about the combination of artstyle, mechanics, and music just made it so relaxing to play. I love the title screen, the opening bit before the rest of the UI comes down is very cute. One thing is that when you make the current monkey be a ladder, it selects the last monkey in the line which requires you to walk it a little further to get back to the same position. I would just make it pick the next monkey in line which is closest.  Also there was that little big where the monkeys would just fly into the sky, but it didn't happen often. Thank you for showing up to the stream today! I really enjoyed playing the game and it was nice to play with the creator. 100% I would buy this game. It would be interesting to see it in a mobile format.

This was a very fun twist on the puzzle genre! There were so many mechanics involved that it made the puzzles fun and interesting. I was having a lot of trouble with the controls for some reason, a lot of the time I would accidentally activate the magnet when I meant to resize myself. Otherwise I loved the game, the puzzles were just difficult enough to be challenging but also fun at the same time. Thanks for showing up to the stream today!

I played this and just got so unlucky that I went across the entire map lol. The game is so relaxing, with the ink trail you leave and filling in the map. I also like the sound it makes when filling in the map. Thanks for showing up to the stream today and helping me when I got lost!

This game is amazing! Everything about it is so professionally made. The fact that the levels are procedurally generated makes it even more impressive! This game would be fun if there were designed levels. Maybe in the future you could make numbered levels with increasing difficulty that players need to get through in certain times to get 1-3 stars. A mobile version of this game would be interesting too, with two joysticks with the left and right side being the two orbs. I love the post processing and the lighting. I would definitely buy this game. Thanks for showing up to the stream today!

I enjoyed the clever twist on the tower defense genre! Initially I solved them by thinking 'what would be the most efficient placement for this tower' in terms of coverage of tiles, but later on the puzzles became more about timing. The simple graphics are nice and I enjoyed listening to the music! One thing is that I would make more puzzles that elaborate on the theme, more that require you to stack the towers rather than play around with the timing. Also, I don't know what to do about the Rng bug with the squares but it wasn't game-breaking, if one square got loose I would just press play again. Otherwise it was very enjoyable! Thanks for showing up to the stream earlier!

I really enjoyed playing this game. It's a nice mix between Space Invaders and Asteroids with a little bit of Galaga thrown in! I like how there is a ripple effect that goes through the ships and UI elements, kind of like TV static.  The movement of the ships are nice as well as the shooting. It was interesting that you could move two different ships but all I would do is put them together into one ship and leave it like that for the entire game. Maybe make it so the ships each have their own individual health, so you have to lose both before you lose a life. I also like how you can set the color in the beginning.

One other thing that would be nice is a scoreboard at the top, with a life counter and score. It would be cool to provide some kind of incentive to shoot the asteroids instead of just avoiding them, as it makes it more dangerous, especially when it splits into the two mini ones that move fast. (The particle effects when the asteroid splits are really cool!) Other than that,  It's a nice twist on the arcade game genre! I would love to see it be developed further after the jam. Thanks for letting me stream it today!

This was an amazing experience! You really feel like you are a part of the game and the music. I love how you see the scene evolve as you play, with more people and things entering the scene and the brightness increasing. One suggestion I have is to make the music notes hit with the music more. There were times when I wanted to move the mouse earlier than the notes appeared. Also add an indicator to where notes will appear so the player knows the general direction of the mouse before a full swing. Otherwise this was an amazing experience that really fits with the theme! Everything about the game is amazing and well done! Thank you for letting me stream it earlier!

I love the artstyle of the game! The mechanics are very solid as well, the movement of the cat and the mouse are smooth and well polished. It was very fun to play! I would say to make the switch key something other than space because at times I wanted to jump but instead switched. And when switching when the cat and mouse are far away, maybe make the camera move a little bit faster. I would love to see more levels made for this game! I enjoyed streaming this today, thanks for showing up! Maybe I can speedrun it on stream sometime when there's more levels made?

Very fun game overall. I love the pixelated graphics and the music goes well with the artstyle. It was a good twist on the jam's theme. The only thing was I didn't realize that you could unselect and reselect other materials in the time, maybe add that somewhere in the instructions. I would also make it so you could skip the initial dialogue so players can get right back to the gain after messing up. Otherwise I enjoyed playing it on stream! Great job!

I loved this game! The controls were smooth and gameplay was fun. The two boss fights were very well planned. Thanks for showing me what to do in the stream when I was confused lol. I don't have any suggestions other than maybe make it a little more obvious that you need to go to the trophies (maybe increase the hitbox to display the text). Otherwise it was an amazing game!

The art was very cool! Awesome lighting effects and I love the sprites you made. I also liked the look of walking with all the zebras behind you. One thing is that the dash attack for the final boss fight did not always register with the hitbox against the boss. I would also include some instructions for new players so they can figure out how to kill the boss. Otherwise it was very enjoyable, thank you for letting me stream your game earlier today. I'm sure everyone else enjoyed it as well!

The graphics are insane. I love the glow around the two players and the shadows that corners of walls give off as you go past them. The mechanics are very smooth and fun. I had trouble in that section with the sets of spikes going back and forth (even with shifting). Overall great game, I would definitely buy the game if it gets released.

The overall game design was amazing! It's really cool to explore the artwork, and I love how the art rotates as you go around it. It feels like it's telling a story even though there aren't any words. The controls when the player is on the edges of artwork at times is a bit janky but other than that the mechanics were solid. I enjoyed playing this during the stream today, and I'm sure everyone else did as well! Thanks for showing up!

Overall, a very fun game. I love the low-poly model of the astronauts and the design of the levels. The UI is very professional! One improvement would be to fix the camera movement. Sometimes it stutters a little bit when turning and moving at the same time. Otherwise great job on this submission!

Same, I wanna have a finished product at the end of this week. It's nice to have a deadline and gain experience!

if you're still down, can I have one that is inspires a sense of adventure and battle, fantasy ish, and 8-bit?
