It has great potential! It reminds me of some flash games I liked to spend time on :)

It is too bad you could not set some clues for when you are being attacked or make the difficulty more beginners friendly at first. I was trying to figure how to make a strategy on how to use all my resources to the fullest when I saw enemies monsters in my town... I had not build my first barrack (and realized way later that I already lost haha)...

-You should make your first IA a bit easier (don't forget that because you made the game, you know better than anyone else how to beat it, so do not set the difficulty based on your feelings alone ;) ).

-Add signals when the IA do something: we do not have the vision of their town, but I think knowing when it has beginning to make monster or when it starts to attack can make the player more alert and able to react :)

Nice start and good luck if you continue developing  ! :)

Interesting idea, but it's really hard to understand what to do. And  I think that everithing is happening so fast, I don't have enough time to send my units to defend my kingdom.

Yeah, I didn't have enough time to make a tutorial video. I spent the first two days of this jam doing something completely different before I came up with the idea for this game. But, I learned a lot about time management!
