Hey! What's up? I'm not very good at text adventures, but if you want a new pair of eyes to check the text content and do a bit of editing, I can totally help with that! And if you think the Spanish version needs a bit of polishing, I'm a native Spanish speaker. You can hit me up at @lourdes.localizes on discord or email me at lourdes.localizes@gmail.com if you wish to discuss the project further.
Looking forward to hearing from you! ( ´ ω ` )
Bump! I'm glad to announce that we made it to the deadline and "Don't Pick Up Stray Aliens" is finally live! I had the chance to work with a great team and collaborate with quality assurance, copywriting and proofreading
If you like cozy, sweet otome games, don't hesitate to check it out 💖
Hey! Just played through it, and it was a great experience — gotta love a good mystery, specially when I had to do most of the figuring out.
The only thing worth pointing out is that it was hard to work on the objectives without having the notes tab visible. I had to write everything down on a notepad to figure it out, but I think that having both tabs open at the same time would've been a great help. Regarding bugs, at one point I came across a bug that made the objectives tab look like I hadn't solved it even though I had, and it was a small distraction when I went back to it (the Text Messages one when the online orders weren't done already).
Otherwise, it was very good, and it was challenging but not impossible. Looking forward to your next mystery! ( ´ ▽ ` )
Hi! I'd be interested in helping with this. My background is mainly in game localization, editing, and UX QA, so I spend a lot of time polishing dialogue and making character voices sound natural while preserving the author's intent.
You can reach me at lourdes.localizes@gmail.com with more details about the scope. I would love to show you my portfolio and discuss the project ☺️
Bump! My first commissioned playtest's feedback is here!
"Structured and clear report that gave me additional perspective on user's first and second impression. It revealed my testing procedure gaps." — Programersi
My experience playtesting Patternsight deserves a blog post. It was a fun yet challenging report to write (>᎑<๑)/♡
Hey! I played a few minutes and got stuck after the first save point, though whether that has to do with me missing any interactive items in the dungeon. Such a shame, because I was pretty much invested with the little time I spent on it, and I want to know more about the lore.
If you'd like, I can send you a report on a few grammar and spelling mistakes I found along with the softlock I just experienced! Just hit me up on discord: lourdes.localizes and tell me you're messaging me because of My Sweet Nayla. Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey! I'm an EN>ES(LatAm) translation student looking to start working on my game localization portfolio, specially with narrative games. I'd love to hear more about your visual novel (^o^)丿

Looking forward to hearing from you!
Hey! I gave it a try, and here's my feedback
* How does the combat and movement feel? Is it fun to control?
It's definitely fun! With the fireball upgrades and the vampirism I could steamroll the first 20 floors — it was like being the final boss of a bullet hell game, and it was really entertaining. Depending on the level of difficulty you want to add to the levels, you may want to make the level caps higher or give the upgrades every two or three levels instead of every level, because within a few minutes of gameplay I felt like I was already breaking the game lol
* Is the Tavern hub actually fun? Does brewing potions and upgrading your character feel rewarding?
i was looking forward to try the tavern hub, but it feels a bit too simple on the aesthetic side. When I think of cozy potion brewing games, my first thought is Potion Craft, which is primarily focused on that gameplay side. At first I couldn't understand if I actually lost the minigame, because there is no reward indicator that the potion is done. It could definitely be improved with graphics and sound effects to make the experience more satisfying. Upgrading the character, on the other hand, feels like I'll have even less difficulty beating the levels, which links with my comment above.
* How is the difficulty?
It's low, but playing is still fun, specially given that cozy games don't require a high amount of skill to be played.
* Did you run into any weird bugs?
Not a bug per se, but many screens were still in German, specially the one with the relics, which makes it hard to choose one when I don't understand the "high risk high reward" presented. There was a moment in which the gold coins were spawned outside the dungeon, which made them impossible to reach. Also, I figure this is part of the rogue-like mechanics, but I usually came across chests that couldn't be opened even after clearing the level, and as far as I'm concerned the mobs were the one who dropped the keys.
I hope my comments are useful! Looking forward to the next builds (⌒▽⌒)☆
Hey! What's up? I'm Lourdes, a translation student from Argentina who wants to get some hands-on experience with quality assurance testing and Spanish localization working with what I love the most — videogames! Here are a few things I may help you out with:
- UX-focused QA: I play your game with a critical eye, identifying onboarding issues, unclear instructions, contradictory information, and anything that could confuse first-time players
- Proofreading and editing: I help your game's English sound natural and polished while preserving your intended message and tone
- Localization and LQA (English ↔ Spanish): I help make your game accessible to Latin American players. If you're localizing a new project or already have a Spanish version, I can review translations for naturalness, consistency, and text overflow issues.
- Functional QA testing: I check the game for bugs before they reach the players, documenting them with reproducible steps and ordering them based on player impact and severity.
You can see my portfolio here!
What genres do I have experience with so far?
- Visual novels
- Puzzle games
- Cozy games
- Narrative-driven games are my favorites 💖
Whether you need a fresh set of eyes on your onboarding, help polishing a release candidate, or localization support for Spanish-speaking communities and content creators, I'd be happy to help! I currently focus on games created by credited human writers and artists!
Interested in working together?
At the moment, I'm offering paid commission services on Ko-fi, but I also work in a volunteer basis with small games, alphas/demos and student projects. The difference between paid and volunteer work is only the TAT, since I put the same amount of work and care in every report I write. Feel free to reach out via Discord or email with a brief description of your project, current development stage, and what kind of feedback/localization you're looking for.
