This game is awesome!!! I like the overlaying musical themes, the visuals, the mood in the room, and all the details to explore. This game is so good! Great job!

The game was fun! What draw my attention -- there was no game engine used. Nice experiment!

The hard and easy levels were similar, I got very similar results in both.

Great game! I like that the sounds fit together and are in harmony with each other (despite the fact that they are so different and so many). It's a positive and fun game, kept me engaged.

However, the rules of the game are not intuitive. I read the instruction but the rules vanished from my memory immediately when I started to play :) In the more polished version the instructions could be part of a game (an onboarding).

Great idea! And nice polish too! I find it quite challenging to play.

I like the game's sounds and music. The spikes were an obstacle which I couldn't pass, due to that  I wasn't able to explore more of the game and encounter other mechanics.

Thanks! The challenge with this game would be to make the transition between recording your beat and playing it seamless to allow the player to play a continuous perfectly looped beat. We have some ideas for fixing it that we might experiment with in the future.

Thanks a lot for playing!

Haha, thanks a lot for playing! We have some ideas for making the game more rhythmically grounded, which we might experiment with in the future.

Nice prototype! The idea is similar to our Music Game Jam entry. I would love to see how it scales to a full game.

Took a while to figure out that I don't have to hit space when the block reaches its shadow - that I can just leave the block in the correct position and move to the next one. Sometimes it felt like the game punished me even though I did everything correctly.

Overall a nice concept and I think it could be developed into something really cool. What if you'd have to do all actions in time of the music?

Kept me engaged for quite a while! It's nostalgic and reminiscent of old games. Good!

Enjoyed the other type of drums besides the bongos. Those were fun.

Incredibly long load time but worth it - it's good that the game lets you already experience some of it before the loading starts. I expected the soundscape to be loud and unbearable but at 126 players it still sounded pretty nice and managed. Great stuff!

Might become a good party game. What if each character had their own colour and had to pop only balloons of that colour? What if popping the balloons increased your speed? I like the music but was expecting a faster beat since this is the DnB edition.

This was nicely soothing!

Could be a great party game for kids!

Very nice visuals! Even though the result in the current version sounds quite basic, I like that the music is procedurally generated - it fits the roguelike genre.

I wish the difficulty built up at a more gradual pace. I'd like to get used to dealing with enemies in 2-3 smaller levels with fewer enemies.

Interesting idea! I would like to be somehow able to use the music in my favour. Is that possible in the current version of the game?

Loved the funky music in this one! Got to 55 points but then gave up :( because the game is pretty difficult - it might help if I could see what keys I'll have to press further in the future.

Really enjoyed this one after I got used to noticing the sounds of approaching enemies (and also how loud / in the centre they have to be before I can attack). The in-game visuals are really nice and, together with the sounds, set the atmosphere very well. I actually felt like a blind swordsman!

Really liked everything about this game! It was easy to grasp and the build-up of difficulty nicely showed the potential of the game. Music was also nice.

This could be a cool mobile game.

Really glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks! Cute is what we were aiming for. We considered polyphony but felt it was out of scope for this jam.

Thanks a lot! Glad you noticed the layering of the drum and animal sounds.

You've made some really valid points about some of the shortcomings of the current version of the game. Solving the problem of the beats being out of time when looped is tricky without a metronome to guide the player but I think it's doable. Clearer visual guides for the expected inputs on the 'piano roll' is definitely doable and should be improved!

Fun idea! Unfortunately, couldn't do anything besides playing two tracks.

Thanks! The idea for this game was to experiment with what would happen if we took any kind of rhythmic reference out of a rhythm game. It's all about free improvisation with the sounds you're given.

I agree, though, that adding a metronome would make the game more structured and easier to follow. It's just not what we were going for in this case.

It was fun to make though! I agree that the gameplay still far from fulfils its potential but it's a start.

Cool! Liked how the tempo is mapped to word length. Would be interesting to make it polyphonic, where multiple paragraphs are played simultaneously by different instruments.

Nice music! Found the game a bit too difficult - it often felt like the obstacles / fireballs are impossible to dodge.

Thanks, we'll definitely consider submitting it! We might still want to make a few tweaks to the current version though.

Thank you so much for the feedback! Silly and polished is exactly what we aimed for :)

The system for checking the accuracy of players' rhythm input is VERY rough in this game so definitely don't blame yourself! Thanks for trying the game.

Hey, thanks for trying! We'll look into adding more polish to the system that checks how accurately the player repeats the rhythm after the rating ends. We obviously didn't do too much play testing during the 48h we had for making the game so it might be too strict at the moment.

Your high score is off the charts!

Haha, thanks a lot for playing!

Not bad! You can get more score quickly by using more sounds in your sequences. Complexity is rewarded!

Thanks a lot for playing.
