  • Best art hands-down. Movement is a bit crusty and a bit frustrating as a result
  • The art is phenomenal, but it felt like the gameplay was an afterthought

What do you like about your game?
i really enjoyed making the art! also it was my first time making a web game, remiinded me of the good ol days of flash games

The artstyle is amazing ! It’s a shame that the different background don’t flow really well into each other because they’re goregeous too :) Nice idea yay ;3

that is something i do regret not incroporating, the main issue i found was that it made difficult to iterate the level design, there are certain rooms that i couldent finish in time, or that my friends dident enjoy during playtesting, each zone being its unique square made it more manageable

yeah i get it, anw it doesnt make the game less good :D

Great stuff here lol

Presentation as a whole is incredible. The visuals are spectacular and the amount of environmental storytelling here was amazing as well

I appreciate that the colliders on the sawblades and even the walls were somewhat forgiving

platforming in the beginning ( Or I guess " falling with style " ) was a lot more intuitive than I thought it'd be. But going back up the second time was definitely harder, primarily because it seemed like I was continuously accelerating a little too much

I even ended up clipping through the platforms sometimes as a result lol. ( Speedrun strat for anyone who hasn't noticed it yet )

The checkpoints as a whole are well spaced and never felt unfair frankly. Overall I'd say this was a pretty damn good entry

Fascinating concept, really impressive.

Very good art! It's nice to know you made everything by yourself. When you go back to the surface, it feels a little weird because you don't reset the speed to zero when the character hits a ceiling. By holding space under a platform you can even eventually go through the platforms and go up with an absurd amount of speed.

Also, when I pressed escape while trying to pause, it brought me back to the main menu and I had to do everything again.

Other than that it's a pretty good game. Well done!

The game is very good! Even though I didn't start from the beginning because my computer is bad haha but is a good game, especially in art

I already said this in Discord and in your page, but I love your game so much!

Your artstyle is amazing, sound fits pretty well your visuals, and the small kinda mean twist at the beginning is great. Also if you're distracted and dumb like myself, you read 'CAT JUMP', so i was like an idiot trying to press space to jump and like 'huh¿¿¿¿¿' until i went back to speak again with the one at the left. laksjdfh I love how disturbing yet cute this game is! It kinda doesn't make any sense. x3
Amazing job!!! Imma play your other games someday and keep an eye on your projects. :3 Please keep doing amazing stuff.

Art, story, atmosphere and music are really good

I feel like the gameplay is a bit weird, especially when you try to go back to the surface, since compared to when you fall down, if you try to reverse the gravity and "walk" on platforms, it actually doesn't let you do that because of small collisions

I feel like the "reverse gravity" ability could be improved too, feels a bit weird / difficult to use, and if you're trying to use physically accurate physics and to just reverse it, I'd suggest you to go for a more customized way of doing it

You drew that all on your own? That's really impressive!

The art looks really cool and the gameplay is good. The music and sound effects sound really nice and atmospheric too.  Great game :3

Good game with unique art style. I like how you make “floating” as the core mechanic. In my opinion need a bit more game juice to be excellent. Checkpoint placement a bit weird though.

little guy was built different. When I realized I’d have to go through the sawblade traps for the second time I felt dread.

Nice art!

From the moment I saw the artwork I was blown away! The visuals alone definitely sell this game for me!

Good luck with the jam!

wow blown away by this. Very charming game despite the art style! Very thoughtful level design too. Very fun gam!

Nice art! It's cute in a odd way ( or odd in a cute way?)
Just hope the movement can be a bit faster.
I enjoyed the vibe a lot.

insanely good submission, killer art style, great simple story. no notes

Really cool take on the theme. I like the way you use 'aberration' in two ways - first the characters themselves, which are superficially sort of gross xD (especially the 'queen' thing at the base of the pit, that freaked the hell out of me!), and secondly with the idea of being forced to follow an alternative life path. A genuine moral in an otherwise disturbing world.

Also, when she did this... like it was a normal mode of transportation... that horrified me just a little :D

Nice work!

The aesthetic reminds me strangely of Oddworld, really cool art and lots of unique set pieces which is so cool, every screen is unique. I liked the ending a lot, not what I expected to happen. Great work here.
