Really enjoyed the art, sound design, voice acting and overall game play. I agree with what everyone else is saying, I stopped playing after getting reset at the kitchen 3 times, having to solve all the puzzles each play through got repetitive. I did notice some audio bugs around the kitchen though, 'I can't let them get me' kept looping.

This is a beautiful looking game. All the elements fit in perfectly. The only thing that I would say is a little bit negative is, that you always get reset. This feels a little bit punishing. I understand why you did that, but especially later it is a little bit frustrating. I still had to finish it because it hooked me. Well done.

Very well put together but reverting back to the beginning at any failure felt very punishing, as it wasn't always immediately clear to the player what the correct way to proceed was, typically requiring a failure to understand the right method. The voice acting is very well done, as is the audio design and music. I enjoy the variety of minigames and just the amount of them is impressive for the jam.  The blank inventory spaces felt a little off at first, knowing how many items there were to obtain felt wrong, and it almost felt like the inventory icons were unnecessary. My main complaint about this is the forced restart, it really affects the enjoyment of the experience. Outside of that, this is a really nice piece of work.

I liked the theme and gameplay, but having to reset when you get caught made it a little rough to get through.

parroting what almost everyone else has already said but the artwork is beautiful. i really liked the fact that you added voice acting too-- i haven't seen that in many other submissions. the puzzles are fun but i do agree the one hit reset is pretty harsh and does hurt the flow of the game/story a bit imo. it's still a fantastic game though

Really gorgeous artwork and a lovely, sad story. I found the one enemy hit reset to be pretty punishing though, since you have to redo so many puzzles that you have already solved. But overall, the excellent production design makes up for it. Great work!

Wow ! Great game ! The twist on the theme is really well thought of, really original I love it !

Very well polished. Love so much of it.

Interesting! This one had a fun selection of minigames, though I have to admit I took forever on the tile puzzle, haha. I felt like the twist was telegraphed maybe a bit too strongly, but there's its own sense of horror in the fact that the player character just doesn't put it together. The ending I got was fairly sweet, though. Cool aesthetics, too!

Hi. I really enjoy the game. Reminds me a bit of old school (in good way) flash games, but without the wonkiness. Great job on putting it together. The only odd thing, when the items pop up, like the fork, it says "return to game" down in the corner, and I thought I had somehow paused it or something. I figured it out pretty quick though.

Really like the art work in this. Looks really polished

Holy shit, the art in this is amazing, and the mood is overall very very good!

Some feedback though:
After getting pushed all the way back to the beginning three times I called it quits. I got to the person with the tv, but after not really seeing a way to get past (and the game really discouraging multiple attempts, since each costs the player to slowly walk through the entire thing again). This would be completely fine if it was clear how to go about solving the problem. It just felt kind of hopeless as it is right now. A principle I picked up from Abhimonk is that harsh failure states (read: restarting) and gamejams do not go very well together. I have 509 games I want to try (won't actually be able to, but the sentiment is there) and I don't want to spend a bunch of that time redoing things I know exactly how to do. That's just a chore. If the game would just have reset back to the previous room, or reentering the room, I would be much more inclined to give it more attempts.

All that said, I still think you made something really cool here. It looks amazing, it sounds amazing (dialog is a bit crummy but well, gamejam), and the premise is quite cool. Congrats on submitting! Keep at it!

Love the art, Soothing and creepy music, The dialogue seems to go on forever sometimes but the rest was amazing, good job!

Mini games were really interesting, and the story really had me hooked. I love your approach on the drawings, and I hope you do more like that in the future!

Fun game, Ther art style is nice, it has a good story and is overall pretty fun to play. I just wish you wouldn't go all the way back when you failed. But its not that big of an issue. Had fun playing this!

Great game. Keep it upβ™₯

Love it!  Great style, fun puzzles, cool audio and voice work!  Giving this high marks!

Pleasant style and well polished overall. Did you voice it, or is it some text-to-speech?
