Very thematic for Solveig's power with the gossip-sharing mechanic. Loved the unique design for Solveig with her hair being her dress. Nice work!

Such a great idea for fully utilizing Solveig’s power! Absolutely love the visuals, music and general vibe. The interesting characters and writing make this a lot of fun as you try to work out how to effectively spread the rumors.

A really neat gameplay idea that made me feel attached to these characters as I tried to figure them out. Very nice character designs and the ending made me laugh.

Beautiful art style. More than that, I think the whole aesthetic - art, music, dialogue really came together in a coherent way with the really innovative core mechanic. Congrats on a great game!

A concept with a lot of potential. I imagine how something like this could work within a grander frame, and can only marvel at the possibilities.

Gorgeous pixel art and very fun concept!

Thank you :)

Such a fun and creative concept, perfect for "mean but in a fun way" Melanie. And the aesthetic is amazing too!

Cool game mechanic and I like the maniac-mansion-like art style.

This is one of the most clever and interesting games I've ever played. I felt like an evil mastermind! It's so satisfying when a plan comes together! This is the most fun I've ever had at a party!

Super kind words. Thank you very much!

Very cool! It felt complex at first, but very rewarding as you learn how it works. Also a fan of the writing, it was very fun.

#!@$ Mary ! She picks her ear and EATS THE WAX!! Great rumor spreading mechanics.

Really loved the writing in this. All the little details of the characters and how the rumors warped as the spread were great. Went perfectly with Solveig as well. I truly felt like an evil mastermind when I had 3 rumors being spread around at once.

Developer(+1)

Amazing to hear. Thank you so much for playing

Fun social mechanic figuring out what kind of rumor everyone is interested in and watching them spread.

Very cool use of what seems to be one of the less commonly used characters.   very unique gameplay idea

Love seeing a game centered around a very unique mechanic.

Awesome! All-around great logic game. Particularly enjoyed discovering the pros and cons of stacking rumors. Music is perfect for a house party, and the pixel art really works well!

Thanks for playing, we're really glad you had fun! What do you mean by "rumor stacking?"

(I am the programmer)

Submitted(+1)

I mean giving someone more than one rumor (so that they have more than one chance to spread something before I talk to them again).

Developer(+2)

Hey, turns out that is actually a bug. The intended behavior would be for the rumor to be replaced each time you choose a new rumor the character is receptive to. As is, the character is only actually holding onto the first rumor and therefore will only attempt to spread that one, despite the fact that multiple visual indicators display.

Appreciate you pointing it out even if it wasn't initially a bug report :P

Awesome stuff! Love how you executed the idea of Solveig's power. Is Jerff meant to be Peter/Spidey, he feels like Kyle's interpretation of him after Midnight Suns XD

Excellent all around, really vibed with one.

Developer(+2)

Thank you for the kind words :)

The character designs were actually designed by someone who doesn't watch Kyle. So a pretty funny coincidence!

I looooove the art! It's got such vibes. And I have to second Barrelbot in saying the ending was great. Nice work on this weird game!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Great entry. Strong concept, well executed, really nice pixel art, especially cool Solveig design, and genuinely funny. The ending was perfect, too. Loved this one.
