This was my favourite game! The core mechanic was so unique and worked so well. It was really cool to see everyone's work in the gallery and we were amazed you got that functionality to work! The writing and characters really invested the player in the world and gameplay. What an amazing game all round!

Trickken was Master King's favourite game last year so we were really excited for your new game! We were amazed by what you produced in a month. The world was so big and detailed but without being overwhelming.

The core mechanic was really interesting - id like to see how that would play out in multiplayer, it would definitely stop people camping! And the glitch stuff was so cool , both mechanically with the file deletion and the visual effects. Great job!

I think it's obvious that the best games are made by families ;)

This was my favorite soundtrack of the jam! Really evoked a weird Americana vibe for me, with the slide guitar and Hammond organ. I also live AFBs art and dialogue and mystery. I would play anything they make!

What an impressive package! As you know we also had the idea of a mini game bundle and the ability to buy things from a shop so it was so interesting to look at the different ways we did it. - With yours we loved the QR code idea - wish we had thought of that! - and the way it was presented as a collection was  really clever interpretation of the theme as well as being just beautiful to look at.

My favourite game was Honk, it's a classic game format you don't see revisited very often and it was particularly beautiful with great music.

If this is what you can do in 10 days I'd love to see what you can do in a month! We were working late nights for weeks on ours lol

This was great! The ATB system was really creative and fun. The character art and animations were brilliant and smoking Steve's evolution made me laugh out loud every time he used his attack or just looking at his pose! Fun callback to last year's jam as well!

Wow! This feels close to professional level. I particularly like how it evoked the 90s through the filters used and particularly the voice acting and compression on the sound files. Really coherent effort but perhaps most of all a really playable game!

We really loved your sweetie game for sweeties last year so we were looking forward to this one! What a wonderful game. It would have been enough to collect the stamps around the town - I think the use of hide and seek elements in particular really works well in this type of game - and enjoy the beautiful sprite work - but the genre switches were really unexpected and added so much to the experience.

After this game I have been inspired to go back and play original pokemon blue on original game boy so thank you for that too!

Really polished - was surprised to read it's your first attempt in the engine! I was really impressed with the smooth weapon animations and the title screens of each level were professional grade!

Loved both parts of this and how well they fit together. The grandpa scenes were laugh out loud funny and really fit the concept of selling the game. The music was great - really period-appropriate - and so was the voice acting.

Thanks, this is really useful feedback. We wanted to put in a save/continue system but ran out of time. However we have now patched in a simple level skip code - see description for details.

Because the Bronte skin dramatically changes the game, we didn't want it to be accessible to people who haven't finished the game already. The main secret of the game is not related to this skin so we don't mind if most players don't  unlock it, its more of a fun extra.

My son has stopped playing Street Fighter 6 and only plays this instead. Apparently "you have to block on their wakeup, it's the opposite of Street Fighter." So there's some meta analysis for you.

Love  all the finishing moves! Hard to pick a favourite but for pure shock value the Primeval Mask one wins for me!

This was such a trip. Definitely one where if this was the demo, I would be buying the full game! And the secret ending made us all laugh out loud.

Feels like a professional quality game. Really well realised on every level. The cannon room in particular was a joy to work through. We all loved this one.

Is this a sweetie game for sweeties? Because either way, we loved it. Felt like a real homage to the jam itself as well as being a great time in its own right.

Diiiiid you, just talk to my girlfriend? Sorry, we couldn't help singing that all the way through! And we loved this game too, a proper card game in there in a game of style and substance!

That wave!!  Call me simple but I was absolutely thrilled every time I saw BG gradually get smaller on fire. Such a great mechanic. I hope you can expand further on it in future!

Really well thought through interpretation of the jam's theme, rules and restrictions. The writing is professional quality. Definitely better than games I have paid for!

Of all the games, this had my favourite world that I would love to live in and explore further. Just the right level of emptiness. Really cool stuff.

Why can't more games have this PS1 aesthetic? And why can't I have these levels of musical talent?? Great all-round package, and I'm really happy the incomplete bits were shared because they were inspiring all the same!

Love this game. And I'm sure one Kyle would have happily paid to play, seems right up his street! The standout for me is the UI though, almost up there with Persona levels of totally stealing the scene!

Beautiful art style. More than that, I think the whole aesthetic - art, music, dialogue really came together in a coherent way with the really innovative core mechanic. Congrats on a great game!

Love the sense of irreverent sense of humour. Who doesn't want to be part of a dog-alien-boat squad? We were taking notes about all the cool things you did with RPG Maker too, gna steal some of those for the next jam!!
