Super cute stuff! Love the old school look and the catchy chip tunes.

This was immensely good vibes. I feel like a truly underrated kind of game is the sort that can just feel like a warm blanket, without needing a bunch of tension or difficulty. This felt like that kind of game, and it was a treat to play, loved the art, the writing was nice and gave a good voice to the characters, and the overall tone was just super cozy, well done!

Developer

Thank you so much for the kind words! I was worried the whole time making it it might end up like a boring walking simulator game, it's very inspiring seeing comments like this and super happy you enjoyed it ~

Is this a sweetie game for sweeties? Because either way, we loved it. Felt like a real homage to the jam itself as well as being a great time in its own right.

Developer

From one sweetie to another, thanks :D

I feel redundant telling you how cozy and good vibes this is but it's the truth. Very nice sprite work as well.

Developer

I always appreciate the comments :D

Really really sweet and community-minded. I love the art and this was a pleasure to watch Kyle play through with chat. I hope you don't mind being thought of as a sweetie now!

Slowly getting used to it, I always thought of myself as gooby kbsGrin

What a cute little game! Really impressed with the character sprites. Could really tell who they are even when working with limited pixels.

One of the most charming games this jam! Melanie's gonna love it!

Very cute pixel art and a fun little story and game to show it off in.  Love the incorporation of so so much of the lore and community input in such a small package

Developer

Thank you! The writing and lore helped me maintain confidence in the project since I couldn't do a lot with it on the gameplay-side, happy to hear you enjoyed it

Oh man! The garage had major The Goonies II for NES vibes and I loved it.  Well done, egpNoodlez!

Thank you :D

I liked this one a lot. Great, cosy vibes throughout. Loved how much flavour text there was for things in the environment, especially the references to the other prompt ideas. Made it a lot of fun to explore. Really enjoyed the GBC sprite takes on the characters, too. Very nice work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you, glad to hear you enjoyed the exploration! I think that was the part that worried me the most making the game lol

Really enjoyed the story, sprites and the amount of interactivity. You had me with the early 'just kidding' bit :D.

Loved the nods to some of the other jam idea suggestions and the credit sequence too!

Developer

Thanks!

A nice wholesome adventure. The sprites are really good adaptations to the Game Boy style. I like that you incorporated undrawn character suggestions too. You used mine, but I missed it! I didn't know until the credits rolled.

Developer

Outside the cinema, the poster thingy on the left of the booth is where I hid those :D

Cool! I'll go back, and take a look.

This was so cozy - really cute and good vibes! I really like the pixel art and how well you managed to make the characters look distinct and recognizable despite the Game Boy limitations - Seraphina's hair-swishing sprite and the echolocation effect in particular look great.

Developer(+2)

Glad you like the art, I haven't really tried animation before so I really enjoyed trying getting the hair swish look good.

Mmm, it's really nice! I also loved the movie theater and the close-up of Big George. Great stuff ^_^

Great gameboy sprite work all around. Excellent music choices. And fun implementation of the echo-location. Really nailed the slice of life vibe in a gameboy package.

Thank you!
