Thanks for playing!

Awww, that's Awesome! Yep, when the enemy is knocked down, they can interrupt their recovery at anytime to attack, so guarding is the best strat! It's so cool that he figured that out so quickly!

Btw, we almost have local VS working, so you might get a chance to challenge him soon.

Ohhhhh, lol, totally slipped under my radar. But then you'd miss out on those Blackmoon kicks, :p

Thank you so much! Once the characters were finished it was a lot of fun to design how they should play. Poor George though, he was just too small to work with the animations XD

Thanks Balbod! The cast Kyle and chat created was just amazing! Glad you enjoyed the characters as much as we enjoyed making them!

Hahaha! Thank you so much! We really liked this cast, so it was fun to breath life into them. Especially when brainstorming those finishers!

We will, the sprite work was great! You're composition really sold it, like when the little critters around Walrus ran away when you got close to him, that was really nice, cheers!

Thanks Zorgla! These were so fun to make and we're glad we were able to squeeze in as many as we could!

Thanks! My brother painted these models non stop for about a week, in the car, while at work (shhh), while at lunch; so he's really happy you gave em a shout out

Thank you!  We originality had some reservations about making a fighting game when half the cast's secret powers was speaking to things lol. But then we thought of Mt. Crushmore and had to commit. It was intimidating at first but in the end, I think it was actually easier than the last games we made, somehow. It boiled down to just 3 things: camera, combat and characters.

Can I like a comment twice!

Thank you so much! I tend to go overboard in the little details so I'm glad you noticed the zoom in :) Also happy you like the Seraphina ending, I had to learn sooo much new stuff for that! Like, post processing and particles sims. I can't help but wonder what her ending would look like with your Seraphina (she's sooo pretty!)

P.S. Regarding Mary, umm I didn't really think about Jiangshi when I chose her idle, but I think I'll sound smarter if I just say yes lol.

Yeah including the rules of baseball must have been tough! I scramble at the deadlines no matter what genre I attempt XD

Great to hear it made you smile :D

Btw, out of curiosity, what was your super combo?

Wow, thank you, thank you, thank you! They actually used to all have the same animations for most of the development but something didn't feel right. So we shifted focus to the character animations instead of making more stages or mechanics or something. We figured that if the characters weren't unique then that's no fun. So we're really glad you enjoyed them!

The characters were really fun to make, Gemby originally had a normal smile but my brother kept insisting I made it bigger and bigger until we ended up with that monstrosity! We really wanted them to look as close as possible to Kyle and LKB's amazing artwork. Some were easier than others. Blackmoon's hair took forever to figure out how to model and Solveig's hair alone took 6 hours just to paint, but DSD was somehow the quickest to make, almost like he made himself...

Also we LOVE Mount Crushmore too! It was the first idea we had and the rest was history ;)

Same lol, broke one of our controllers mashing the same button too much.  Glad you liked the models, they were really fun to make; happy to finally have my own 3D DSD model.

Thanks!!! Solveig's crawl was near top priority lol. Due to time constraints we had to pick between her and big george. Big george "walked" so that she could crawl.

Oh that's hilarious lol!

Super interesting game! I love how involved everyone is in figuring out its mysteries! I can't wait to see who cracks the code first!

Great game! I really like the way DSD was incorporated.

P.S. Best George ever! Hee hee hoo hoo!

Your art is AMAZING!!! I'm really impressed with the depth of the card game and the overall replayability. Really great stuff! Also, I love your style of cinematics and storytelling!

Really cute and clever game! I thought the puzzles were brilliant and the boss fights were amazing! Well done!

I absolutely adore the visuals and the atmosphere!

This is one of the most clever and interesting games I've ever played. I felt like an evil mastermind! It's so satisfying when a plan comes together! This is the most fun I've ever had at a party!

I was super excited to play this when I saw the screenshots! The characters and story are so charming and I had a blast!

And your UI design skills continue to blow my mind!

I really liked the size mechanic and how it changes the overall gameplay! Also, great job on the level design! I found each level to be well realized and interesting!

I'm truly impressed how you were able to weave in such a valuable and important message with thoughtfully curated gameplay. Super well done! One of my faves this year!

This game is remarkably sweet, charming and clever! I loved the story and this DSD is hands down my favorite ever!

What a vibe! Fun, flashy and fantastic!

Great, great, great music and the best final boss I've ever seen ;D

Mary is ruthless! Awesome game! I love the characters and style! Also, the first time you get a red ghost *wink*, was the highlight of the jam for me!

Cute drawings and I love the characters! Great ending fight, really clever having the boss mirror George's mechanics!

One of the most charming games this jam! Melanie's gonna love it!

I need a Saturday morning cartoon with these guys! I miss them already :(

I positively love this game! From the detailed mechanics to the little details, you made a great baseball game! I could instantly tell how much work went into this. Great Job!

Mixing invisible enemies with echolocation was a truly great idea! And I loved the story and premise, it really sucked me into your world! I can't wait to see more from you!

Really fun platformer! The abilities add so much to the gameplay.

This game reminds me of why I love making games; telling stories that are only possible through this medium. Might be my favorite experience of the year!

Great story and characters! The writing was really fun to read through!

I <3 JDog!

I love the character designs! They're soooo coooolllll! One of my favorite DSD's ever!

I'm really impressed by the small details you gave to each character and room.  Walrus's room was my fav.
