I really like the art, music, gameplay and characterization of all the "friends". The bear sprites and Big George are my favorite, especially after you interrupt his attack.

LKB I read all your lore and it's great! The meta story for DSD and the developers works perfectly and brings a wonderful new angle to the whole game. I hope lots of other people read it too, cause it's a real contender for Best Narrative!

So many bears... Really impressed at how well the game holds up to all the upgrades. Some nice secrets as well, especially the DSD lore.

Developer(+1)

haha thanks! I'm still waiting to hear about a bear overload crash. One day...

The ground slam is very satisfying! Love the animations and the music, especially DSD's shop tune. Also I finally got around to reading DSD's tragic diary, and I highly recommend everyone to check it out. Awesome job all around!

Developer(+1)

Appreciate it! The DSD tune was the first thing that Blep made and, yeah, it's a bop.

Damn you Big George for ruining the formation of my army of bears every time! It was fun slowly upgrading my abilities to eventually overcome my annoying friends.

Developer(+1)

The only solution is to get more bears, clearly.

Loved the concept for this game! Took me a bit to get used to controlling the bears and not being as reliant on just placing them and forgetting them but it was really fun once it all clicked. The graphics, music and sound came together so nicely. That hoo hoo hee hee will haunt my dreams though… Love all the details in DSD’s shop too!

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the compliments :) Hoo hoo hee hee!

Great game! I really like the way DSD was incorporated.

P.S. Best George ever! Hee hee hoo hoo!

Developer(+2)

Thanks! He's also extra satisfying to smash

A very addictive game! I like how involved you have to be at the start, you can't just park a bear on a tree and expect it to do all the work by itself, having to mobilise your bear force rapidly is very fun. Love the DSD lore too, am I right in thinking he's been to the MLP and Fallout dimensions? Together with the doodles, the lore was a really nice special treat on top of a super solid game. Shoutouts to a great music loop too,  infectiously good and still awesome after like 30 runs.

Thanks so much for those kind words! The specific worlds question you'll have to ask littlekittenbit about, though I believe one is Sin City.

SPOILERS FOR GAME SECRETS BELOW!

In order:
- Sin City, Frank Miller
- My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic
- Fallout 4
- the setting of the Imperial Radch, but specifically a planet seen in the book Provenance, from Ann Leckie

Good eye on the middle two! Glad they were comprehensible. I didn't expect the last one to be anything anyone knows, that was just a present to myself.

A really nice and fun game. This will probably be how I envision Big George from now on. I am curious however if there is something to do in the outskirts of the map seeing as it is quite expansive.

Developer(+1)

Thanks, AFB! There is, indeed, an objective outside of the main game!

Loved it and it was very fun to see how much it has evolved since i tested it.  Love all the art, love all the story bits and it is a very fun structure for a game

A simple but fun little game. I loved the different ways the rats attacked.

The art looks so good! Unfortunately the web version seems to crash if you double click charge. Had same results in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. I’m on Windows 10 if that helps.

I’ll try out the downloadble version tonight! But I thought you might want to know.

Developer(+2)

Hoo boy yea that's a weird one. Thanks for pointing that out! I'll just take down the HTML5 version since I didn't get a chance to thoroughly test it.

Really great art all around! I really liked this implementation of the DSD shop.

This one was wild. I filled the screen with more bears than could possibly have been responsible. Fun, great art, exceptional Schippie. I love a game that goes all-in on DSD. Fantastic job by everyone involved!

Developer(+2)

lol MORE BEARS!

I was curious so see how far people went before the game broke. On behalf of the team: thanks for the kind words :)

Developer(+2)

my heart is all-in on DSD
