Fantastic idea and graphics! "Luck" is super cute 😊

Wow, that presentation was insanely clean! Particles and glow effects go a long way, but the movement sequences for the card battles and all were just so satisfying too!

As a fellow card game maker, I'll try my best to be unbiased about the gameplay, but boy do I love some good cards! I struggled to follow at first, but once I got the hang of things, it was a lot of fun - and the little minigame to determine your "luck" was a really cool idea!

I had a lot of fun with this game, and reckon it could be expanded into something really cool!

Graphics and effects also look wonderful!

I really like the idea of doing a minigame to determine your luck amount before the card game!! I'm also very impressed that you essentially made two games in 48 hours!! So much fun!!

Good idea! Art and sounds very good...Also presentation very good. Well Done!

I really enjoyed it! Apart from having nice visuals and music it also has a rather good concept and is easy to pick up. The only thing I would change is the explanation button but all in all, Well Done!

Oh yeah good tip, and the explanation it self as well hahah! Thank you! :)

A very creative and interesting implication of the theme! was kinda hard to understand what is going on at first, but once you do it is very fun. really good idea to add the option to choose one of 3! also really nice art gj!

Interesting idea! It makes for really cool gameplay, I love the art too :)

A really well-executed idea, especially considering it's a 48-hour game jam submission. The quality is amazing.

I love card games, and I was not disappointed. Playing as luck is clever idea and then hoping the player would play the cards right.

But I would maybe double on the luck part, maybe if you have really good result, you could pick some cards for enemy, or maybe show the cards live in battle, so you could be happy that you get this card and not that. Or maybe see all the 5 cards, but you could only select card for the player from the top tree. Because now it still feels too random what you get, even if it isn't random.

But still enjoyed the game, good job.

I agree that the "luck" aspect could be protrayed clearer and have more of an impact, and those are some nice ideas! Will keep them in mind! Thank you! :D

Very interesting concept! The overall presentation and sound design felt very polished for 48 hours and the core gameplay loop is very solid. I think I found a bug where I dodged right as the timer ran out and my little spirit just kinda disappeared off the screen but I'm sure that can be fixed in a post-jam update. Cool submission!

Developer(+1)

Oh damn okay didn't know that could happen, yeah will look into that, thank you! :D

Quite a fun game! I think the concept is really good and the polish in the animations is good too. Some of the cards are very hard to read with such small text, perhaps consider making the card larger when you hover over? Other than that nitpick though, this is a clever game and well executed!

Developer

That is a good idea, will probably add that! Thanks! :D

The game is beautiful and the concept is really unique! Well done!
It was hard to get into at first, and a card got stuck on my screen throughout one of my playthroughs, but I think that this game is a charming one for sure!

The game can be a little hard to understand at the first time but when you understand it it's very fun and addictive.

The game is also really pretty.

Great job !

Nice art, interesting concept, overal a fun game. A comment here pointed me to the scrolling of cards, and that's when it all made sense. Had fun!

I feel pretty stupid for not realizing you can scroll through the card selections, I was playing with only 3 cards to choose from at a time (basically 2 when seppuku was introduced) till the last level where I finally realized it lmao. Really clever idea though, the game looks nice and is pretty fun to play!

Fun gameplay and a charming art style, great work!

A very unique gameplay design that also fits the theme. Perhaps players can be given a random set of cards to simulate their actions.
