Very cool and interesting mechanics and rules of the cards. There's a layer of synergy that requires strategy and knowledge to play. It would be even more interesting if the demon plays first, and so we must counter its move. The game could definitely have some polishing, but right now the concept and deepness of this complex card game is presentable of course! Mixing elements/forces are fun!

Cool aesthetic and cool design with all the elemental interactions, great work!

Very interesting idea! I can imagine this being played IRL with physical cards. very fun and presented so well! Great job! Fits the theme quite nicely IMO!

This could turn into a nice two player game. Good job, I had a good time playing it !

a simple game with surprisingly complex tactics! pleasing art style

i would have liked it to be fast paced, the delay on enabling the "end turn" button was causing me to be a little impatient

Love card games, and this was very easy to learn, which is important for a jam game. It also was deeper than I originally thought it would be, I was pleasantly surprised. Great job!

It's a really solid idea, and the art style is nice if just a bit to simple for my personal taste, only real criticism is that it doesn't feel like it matches the theme to well, but I do think what you were going for was clever!

Really cool

I don't really get how it fits the theme. Art is cool. Gameplay might be more interesting if you could see your opponent's hand.

Nice and simple art style! Cool game.

:D

Good job, I love the art for the cards! It had more depth than I realized!

Complex and entertaining, definitely made me think twice about every move, great job!

This game manages to pack so much strategy into such a simplistic art style. It takes a while to get used to, but this game is great!

Very creative, the fact that your card will become the new element for the enemy and that you can force the enemy to attack himself added new dimensions to the game. Fun experience!

I haven't seen a card game where the cards have so little information on them, and yet they're so flexible. Very cool!

A pretty neat concept for a card game. I find it very original, but at times I found myself in situations where the cards I had available couldn't inflict any damage on the enemy. Aside from that, it's a solid submission, and I enjoyed it. Good job!

This game isn't trying to do much, but it does everything near perfectly. Really seems like something you could find in mobile, where readability and clean mechanics are king.

Fun Game! It'd be nice if there was more in the game because at the moment it feels kinda empty after a while

Fits the theme so well! I like the idea of combing the elements and changing yours.

I'm not sure I understand what happens when both elements are the same - it seemed to do something different each time. It might be nice to have a way to bring up a menu that shows all the weaknesses and affinities in a grid.

After a round or two I feel like I had seen it all. Would be interested to see what new twists or additions could be added to make different enemies feel unique/varied (besides just more health). I think there's a lot of promise in the core idea! :)

Thanks for your kind words and detailed review, I hope you enjoyed!

It's my fault to not explain but if you are curious(or someone who has the same issue) here is what happens when both cards are the same:

  • Both cards are compared and game takes the difference between them.
  • If enemy card value was higher, difference goes to you as damage/heal and if you have resistance to it, you don't be effected (Such as playing "Leaf" Card to "Fire" formed enemy, Fire is uneffected to "Leaf"). If your value was higher, difference goes to enemy.

Long story short, for player: Take the difference and take the damage or heal according to you and card's form.

Core concept is really promising like you said,  but in 48 hours this is what I can make as a solo :)

I would definitely add more different approaches to mechanics including different bosses (with different types of actions), card types besides elements, levels and so on.

It can be really good mobile game but there's too much to do to make it a bearable experience. Even I didn't played it more than 20 minutes :D

Whenever I got free time, I will definitely play your game and leave a detailed review as well, it seems really stylized! Have a good day!

Great job on the game! I can tell you put a lot of thought and work into it! It is a really cool concept! It was a little confusing to get the hang of, but eventually I figured it out. The strategy behind it is pretty cool! Great job!
