I like this sort of role reversal, I don’t think I’ve seen any yet. A lot I’ve seen you would have switched to the ghosts, but it was nice to switch the role of the same character!

The idea has a lot of potential! The quick switches between night and day and trying to run around finding or avoiding ghosts keeps player on their toes to make sure they survive the night but can also catch the ghosts in the day. The transitions between the music and the lighting make a such a great contrast in the presentation. I feel you could've tried adding different types of ghosts or maybe some upgrades or tools to help the player get the ghosts. At night, other than avoiding ghosts there's not much to do other than standing around so you could try adding a ghost that chases you down constantly at night.

The idea is simple and makes the game more potential. Maybe due to the limited time, i think there are more things could happen with this mechanic, especially during the night when player not only need to avoid touching the ghost, but also has to collect something to accelerate the time to pass the night more qucikly. I still believe that it could be a good foundation of a fun game.

Quite an interesting concept! I enjoyed the music changing when it gets to night and the time indicator is nice too. One critique I have is that the ghost's vision cones snap to each angle instantly, making it quite hard to dodge them if you're close. Perhaps they could rotate around to meet the angle necessary to make it a bit more predictable. That's just a small nitpick though, this is a good entry, well done!

You really were able to sell the difference between night and day quite well. The best part for me was how the audio just goes silent at night, really added to the atmosphere. Amazing job, and please check out my game when you have a chance :)

I loved the differences between night and day! I was thinking the whole time how cool it would be for the night to be as creepy as the day was relaxing and you did it! What the game needs though, is some form of progression? Something to aim for besides a high score? After some time I felt like I was doing the same thing over and over. Don't take that like I didn't like your game though! Good job!

The game isn't half bad! I like the concept and the dynamic between day and night works well. I understand the art and music were not original, but they were well-chosen assets nonetheless. Could've used a bit more space for the player to roam around in and the ghost's AI wasn't smart enough to check corners, but that's just nitpicking. I think it would have massively benefitted the game to have the character constantly moving around even during the day to collect something like an item or coins so that when night hits they're in a lot more danger. Great job.

Nice game you've got there! I really enjoyed your interpretation of the theme, it's a lot different from a lot of the games I see here. That said, I wish there was more to do at night - if you avoid the ghost's line of sight you can just sit in a corner and do nothing all night long, which is a bit boring. Maybe having a big ghost chase after you like in Spelunky so you have to keep moving at night?

As days go by there will be more and more active ghosts at night and it would be difficult to avoid all their sights. But this is a nice idea too!

This was a really fun little game! the lines between the grid were a little distracting and the way that some of the assets looked together wasnt top notch, but the game itself was really fun. I really appreciated how there was something to do during the day, and then things flipped at night. I wouldve removed the "attack" feature at night though as I thought I was supposed to use it. But besides that the game play was great. Awesome job :)

Thanks for your review. I decided to fix the lines later at first, but after a while I got used to it and forgot it's a problem lol
