I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed playing this game. The concept is solid and having to think about multiple ways of your object getting detected can be quite challenging. The presentation is also very good.

I find the game quite challenging to play, maybe it's just me. I think the time limit really made it way much harder for me to enjoy the game :( I think some level of balance will be good, maybe a much more lenient time limit to allow me more time to properly set things up. I think strategically planning will be the way to go. I kinda figured out how to play after trying like 10 times, some times can be hooked onto the left side  and at the top to avoid things dropping often, some long items can be placed at the bottom or the right side. Asides that, I think the game has very good visuals, which makes it very unique compared to other games. Definitely wanna pack my suitcase with explosives and guns for sure ahaha

This is awesome!! It's just like a reverse papers please! For a jam game this is incredible, it's practically ready to be a mini-game in an actual commercial game. I could also see this being expanded into it's own commercial game. The style and gameplay of it all is great!

Initially I didn't like the time limit, though thinking about it after I finally won a round (it may have taken me like 8 rounds...) I suppose thats there so people don't have time to put in the perfectly crafted solution, so now I'm neutral on the limit. Maybe in a future installment this could start as a really generous time limit and later on the time gets shorted as they progress. The other slightly nitpicky thing is doing the camera round, I read the instructions but when it was actually time I wasn't aware that I would be snapping the 3 pictures so I lost the first couple times I got there. Again something you learn after going through that section, but I think maybe a mouse clicking icon could be a good way to just give a player a heads up to be ready to click, especially since the first two rounds are passive.

Otherwise thought this is quite an amazing experience out of this jam! Great take on the theme! Your team did extremely good work!!

I always wondered (and even wanted to make a game like this but not for a game jam) what do Paper's please would look like if you were the person smuggling, but I never had the idea how to do it. Your game is one way to do it.

The graphics are rad, and the music is perfect! I wouldn't go exporting 'nukes though...

Very innovative, very polished, great job. One of the best.

INSANE
Didn't quite get what to do with x-ray until looked up the description

It is crazy how this game is polished. Congrats! I had quite fun :D

This was quite fun! The art style was wonderful and there was a solid soundtrack to back it up. The ideas behind the game were really fun. I thought the first two tests required a lot of planning but the third seemed kind of random to me since I couldn't really plan that well for the shaking (it throws everything around). I tried clicking while the detection was going on and I got something that said, "Contraband secured." Does that mean I beat the level? That was the only thing I was confused by. Otherwise wonderful job.

Thank you for the kind words! Yes, we had different plans for the x-ray machine but ultimately settled on this because of the time limit. When you click on the x-ray it takes a picture and checks if any part of the illegal item is visible. If it is, you get a large penalty on the suspicion meter. You can get randomly lucky but it can get quite exciting if your suspicion was already high from before.

Nice entry! I like the graphics and all of the animations. The game was challenging while still being fun. Sometimes, items could behind UI or a little bit outside of screen in full-screen mode. Anyway, I like that there are different kind of contrabands and items to hide with. Good job!

Glad you liked it! Honestly we found this year's theme really difficult and had to change our plans a couple times as we workshopped the game

Mmm, yes, crime!

The random nature of the added items and having to fit them together gave the whole thing a very nice Tetris-like feel.

I did end up having to download the game; for some reason it was zoomed in on my browser, even when fullscreen.

Fantastic work!

This was great, love the concept! Bit hard at first but still fun. Loving the overall vibe of hiding dangerous items while listening to a casual tune. Great work!

Fun game, shake test is always so intense! Feel like this could definitely be expanded with more levels, different cases, different objects to hide, but very impressive work for 48 hours!

Hey, very cool game !

I really see this idea expanded has a puzzle game, with a fixed set of object and different cases shapes and forms... Awesome !

love the idea and its fun to play it take me couple round to pass

I really like the idea and the art looks really good and fits the game. I do think it is a bit too hard and wish there was more time to hide the stuff.
