The game reminds me a bit of nuclear throne. it has potential! but it lacks game feel to keep the player engaged. i found unfortunately a bit boring the fact of having to click each time to attack

Nice game. It was fun to fight enemies, but I think the levels were too large or there was not enough indication as to where enemies are, so I have spent a lot of time just running around trying to find someone on shoot at. Other than that, it was a great game. I loved the concept of trying to build an artificial heart, I think it is a very interesting idea, like something from a science fiction novel or cyberpunk film.
Super fun game, the flying enemies that shoot projectiles were giving me the business lol.
Super cute, love the graphics (especially the player character) and the gameplay is pretty solid. I liked the music too but it stopped playing partway through the game. Great work!
Great job! This was really cool. A small thing that I think would make the game feel a lot better is some amount of feedback when the player takes damage (SFX, sprite flash, etc.), since it's not always totally clear when you've actually gotten hit.
Cool little game! I had fun shooting stuff! I wish you could autofire and just be able to press SPACE or SHOOT to go through dialogue, but those were minor stuff. That boost power was very satisfying! Great work!
Nice game. Controls felt good. Some enemies don't notice they player outside a certain range, so the player can shoot them with impunity.
Some quality of life tips: auto-shoot, minimap or bug radar, auto-teleport back to base, maybe an occasional health powerup?
Theme: Tie in through narrative
Fun: The core game loop was clear
Controls: Character movement controls were responsive
Graphics: The art was nice, especially the level sprites
Audio: No feedback
A11y: Having a hold to fire option would be a helpful toggle option, but glad there was a menu for sounds
Originality: The core mechanics for a twin stick shooter were present , and having the buffs at the end of the level was nice to change it up a bit
OOOH I assume this is Nuclear Throne inspired. It was a nice story/theme take on a top down shooter. I especially enjoyed the dialog prompt from the AI!
Extremely polished for your first submission! Well done! The music, sound effects, and pixel art were great!
I found the game a little difficult and would have liked it if the enemy projectiles were a little bit slower.
