Quite confusing, but it was nice to play nontheless. I liked the keyboard puzzle.

Ha, I loved this! "ThisCord" killed me hahah. I like the meta gaming with the GWJ. Very clever and very engaging game from the start.
really nice game! I liked the variety in storytelling mechanics and going through multiple scenes.
🐞one thing i noticed in the 1st paper notes section, the number glyphs were missing in the font. And i had a little confusion as a player how to progress past that section. Of course i eventually figured out i had to let the teacher catch me and got to experience the rest, but I was stuck for a little bit
Really nice work though, and very relatable storyline haha
Thanks for trying out the game!
- Yeah, you can’t type numbers and symbols don’t work. It was not obvious to me how to get symbols working with the shift key and so on so I opted to not complicate things and just keep it to letters. With keyboard layout differences as well I wanted to make sure what the user typed is what they got. Perhaps something to research going forward.
- Interesting. The teacher checks on you 4 times so you should not be “stuck”. No one else has reported this…but maybe they just did not run into this problem. I originally wanted to add a clock so that you can see how long the class was going for but ended up working on polishing up other parts of the game. Your feedback confirms that this is something that should be added though. Thank you for bringing this up.
This is an excellent idea for a game. I agree with what Wei-ju Wu said about the keyboard, I thought I had forgotten the layout of my keyboard lol.
That was pretty interesting, unique and very meta :D I thought for a while my keyboard was broken :D Reminds me a bit of Interactive Fiction, but with more graphics.
Thanks for trying out the game! I’m glad you felt it was a unique and immersive experience.

I did not even think about this but in hindsight I can see how it can throw the player off completely. I hope the puzzle was not too difficult to solve because I want the player to complete the game instead of getting frustrated and quitting to play another submission. :P I spent a fair amount of time brainstorming different ways to convey hints to the player as to how they should arrive at the solution.
Very fun and even if this was my first jam i could relate a lot to everything , really unique game!
Nicely done. Very relatable. Would be cool with some background music as well.
Thanks for trying out the game! I avoided putting in music as I did not want the music to suggest to the player what was happening. In hindsight though I think you are right and I should have just put some neutral music to keep the mood “static” to keep the players guessing. Will keep that in mind for the next jam! :)
Very cool, and fun! Brings me back. :P Nice for something so early in your career at GWJ! Keep up the good work!
Really fun ! And I can so relate to everything. Quite an experience and unique approach, love it !
