Game Description
Dreams Stacks is a cozy matching game about creating dreams by stacking pogs!
How does your game tie into the theme?
Dream Stacks is about creating dreams by stacking together dream fragments. Dreams are represented by clouds and dream fragments are represented by pogs. I already said Dreams too much.

Awesome graphics! The best font choice I've seen in this jam. The game is very consistent and the idea is pretty cool too. Very good choice of music, it really sets the tone and creates a relaxing experience.
Nice approach to the theme. The music was very relaxing which made it a very laidback experience.
Very polished submission where everything fit together. Original, simple, a real safe-space between all the submissions to relax and take a breath :)
PS: My score: 39!
Neat concept. The tutorial was very well executed. Great music, sound effects, and art. The whole game looks and feels very polished. Well done!
I really like your game. Simple, polished and relaxing.
Thank you!
While the gameplay is simple in concept, I just live for the sheer polish surrounding it. The text gently swaying on a baby blue background with lo-fi playing in the background is just incredible atmosphere.
Glad you felt the atmosphere. I was hoping to create a calming vibe.
A burger preparation game but for the dreams, I find the idea great and SUPER well executed! one of the most polished and beautiful games of this jam!
Thank you for the kind words.
This is an utterly beautiful game, soothing music, and stylish graphics.
Thanks Wei-ju!
Fun and relaxing game. Although I couldn't figure out all the scoring rules. Nice music. Animation and controls were very smooth, and the game overall is really polished. Well done!
You had me at "pogs"! Makes me want to sleep so badly! But I really enjoyed this game and don't really have any major feedback - nothing felt out of place, and it was well-designed for what it was.
Thank god someone else knew what pogs were... I was so worried that I dated myself too hard :) (I probably did)
Hahaha! I think you're using the right engine for old people who played with pogs. :D It seems like it's all older folks!
haha I sure hope so! At least I didn't implement slammers haha
Sometimes dream cards were stuck, and they would pile up, making difficult to see them. I really enjoyed it :) Very good overall, chill and relaxing. Reminded me of Cultist Simulator
I noticed that too, ugh. Thanks for the feedback. I love Cultist Simulator!
- Theme: Main mechanic revolved around themes and the aesthetic fit with it
- Fun: The core game loop was clear and the tutorial helped explain. Even though there were secondary effects on the stacks, it never felt like I had a choice of what to pick. Often times I was waiting for the same mood on both stacks, so I had to take whatever was first available or the nightmare to prevent a loss.
- Controls: I like how the play button was also a stack. Game was responsive, Holding onto nightmares was another way to prevent them from moving forward
- Graphics: Very nice UI. The wiggling text was cool
- Audio: The music was a good vibe and the SFX helped cue things in
- A11y: N/A good use of shapes
- Originality: This was an interesting take on the puzzle genre!
Thanks for the detailed feedback. Glad you noticed the wiggling text.
Good game. Great aesthetics. Nice attention to game-feel. Everything felt very responsive.
Glad you enjoyed, responsiveness was important!
