I adore your caravan STGs, and I look forward to playing them every jam.

However, I think this one might be the weakest in terms of balance between dodging and scoring. There is simply no need to dodge anything if you just tap the golem and rush forward. In terms of art and presentation in general, it's top-tier, though.

Yeah I didn't really have much time to make a dedicated mechanic so I just went for a very simple shield system. In hindsight it would have been better to make the golem a short-lived hyper mode like what WBaWC did. 

The scoring strategy is to regularly switch between using your normal shot (to raise gold value) and using golem (to cash in on the gold value), but it makes the game ridiculously easy for survival indeed. Honestly I want to pull a CAVE one day and make extends super hard to get to offset it a bit haha

I intentionally saved this game for last. I knew what I was going to get and I knew it was exactly what I wanted to end the jam out with.

I loved the inclusion of a more melanin-rich Cirno. Tan Cirno has always been a favorite for me because she's the closest thing we really have to any sort of diversity in this franchise (as well as it simply being a cooler design tbh). 

Also, gotta love that "sexiness" score. More games should have this UI element.

The Sexiness score was initially an "easter egg" option and then I went, "you know what? Score is boring and no one wants that. let's keep this from now on"

Also YES Tan Cirno supremacy. ZUN has been striving for diversity more in recent years with a wider range of skin tones in TH17+18, it's only reasonable that we fans should follow in his footsteps!

i dont quite get the golem mechanic admittedly though it seems like i can kind of just hit x whenever im in trouble without having to worry about running out as one does in the integer games

i kinda just held the thing on top of cirno and letty and they both died before i could see much of their patterns

AESTHETICS are super on point though and i was certainly able to appreciate cirno and lettys sprites before i cast them to the void

and as always, i cant score for shit! i did get a life while the score thing was counting up that wasnt counted in it. you can see it says i've got 5 remaining lives but i've got six up top

Ya golem is incredibly broken, and the jam build even had a bug that let you use it infinitely. You're supposed to balance using your normal shot and using golem to increase gold value and cash in on higher scores across the stage, but if you're just going for survival... you just need to tap X every once in a while and all your problems go away xd

The only criticism I was gonna add was the player's bullets where too distracting/bright but then I found the options menu, so yeah PERFECT GAME! five starts all around.

Oh WOW, this was insane! This game does things to my eyes and brain (Good things). It's super fun and super nice to look at. I don't have much to say except that it's so good it caught me off-guard, shoutouts to the very detailed options menu it has, it's pretty cool too

That was fantastic. Love how all of thee aesthetics came together to create a winter wonderland. The frantic pacing of the game was also great, and the shield system allowed for me to go through with only one death. Amazing job.

Holy sHiT, mY d0sE of 𝓪𝓭𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓮 - thanks I needed one right now.

Only really relevant thing I have to say is, you should go a bit easier on drawing the background. It's really colourful (the colours are as saturated as the sprites), it's quite detailed and on top of that it scrolls at high speed.
Consequence: the background is as busy as the actual gameplay and it's harder to focus on playing as it should be.
It's not that big of a problem here since the player has this Bullet Golem abilty, but I can easily imagine this could be an issue on a more Touhou-like ShmUP.

Btw game is very nicely put together, applauds!

I definitely went all out on making a cool snowy background, it's the very first asset produced for the game too. As a result adjusting the colours to ensure visibility for bullets was also difficult, haha!

This game is the definition of art itself.

Very satisfying to play.

You are an overpowered bullet shooter slashing through tons of enemies, and fighting Cirno and Letty as bosses.

Overall really great and interesting to play.

Great shmup! Looks nice, plays great, difficulty is well done too, as I died just once, being a complete rookie in horizontal STGs, but still felt challenged. Letty's theme rocks. Good job!

Very generous hitbox/hurtbox, very clear visuals, good enemy and boss patterns. As an STG game it is very well done! Great work!
Kinda wish there were more patterns to see, but what you have right now is really great!

Big numbers go BRRRR. The game looks great and I love the rendition of Letty's theme. The Golem Shield is really neat, almost like Eschatos. It lets you cruise to the front line and rack up even more points.
