That's a really funny idea and surprisingly satisfying to play. I mean, all you do is throw stuff at a sentient walking dice and apparently that's all you need to make a game fun to play

Also, pressing the button down was a very interesting experience

Developer

Thank you ! We made our best to "Keep it simple", it seems we have succeeded :D

wow, fantastic game. Sadistic idea, perfectly executed. Well done!

Thank you ! Glad you enjoyed the game :-)

Weirdest and funniest game I've played yet. How on earth did you come up with this idea 😂

Developer

Hey Josh, thanks for your feedback ! During our brainstorm, one of us had the idea "And what if the objective was to not make the dice roll ?". We liked the idea, but thought it could be a little boring to control the dice ourselves. That's when the idea of this little character that desperately tries not to roll came, and we found that absurdly fun, so we went for it :D

Cheers !

Funny and creative game. It is enjoyable when making fun of the dice

Developer

Thank you ! Happy to see you enjoyed too bully our poor poor die :-)

Really great, simple concept. Hilarious and incredibly fun! Amazing game!

Developer

Thank you !

That was in our minds all along: "Keep it simple! " :D

10/10 almost cried from laughing..... The level of detail and polish is insane considered a 48 hour time span! Well done guys! I tip my hat to you sir!

Thank you ! :D

Your boss has taken your voice. In our game, its the sound of the paper plane that was made by one of us :p

The expressions on this poor, poor dice as I tormented them with endless volleys of objects... Made me almost feel genuinely bad for it! I could see a full game being made from this - the dice becoming shapes that are more and more difficult to tip, level geometry to help out with the task... Oh man, I'd play such a game through to completion! What you've got here is an adorable slapstick simulator, and I love it!

Developer

Thank you ! :D
We wanted to add some level geometry and obstacles, but as the time was running out, we decided to keep it simple. There are several "emotional" state for the dice, each with a different stability. The last one being the most unstable one of course.
It can be interesting to have different shape, we'll keep that somewhere for later (we are currently working on another game) :-)

One of us is really happy you said "slapstick simulator" because during the brainstorm, he was always speaking about different kind of simulators xD

This one legit made me laugh while playing. Your take on the theme is so creative. Although I felt a little bad for trying to hit such a cute dice, it's expressions were extremely funny. Keep up the great work :)

Thank you and glad you appreciated it !

We wanted to work on the duality between this cute die we do not want to hurt, and the irresistible wish to press that big red button. But finally we had not enough time to enforce this duality more than that.

a bit short but love the creativity of this one ! First one that made me laugh :)

Indeed it is a bit short, glad it made you laugh anyway ! :D
Thank you !

i love the gameplay and art style, super polished!

Glad you enjoyed it ! Thank you :-)

Short but really nice. The gameplay is well polished.

I like the combination of the cute/cozy art style and the surprising ending. Good job.

Thank you !
Right from the start we wanted a game simple enough to be able to polish it. Glad you enjoyed it.

Really fun ! Love the ending XD

Thank you :-)
We came to a choice between this ending, and another one more graphically in line with our game, prettier, but less surprising. We finally chose the fun one :D

Really neat result for a 48h challenge ! Good job to the whole team!

Thank you :-) We did not sleep enough, but without any regrets ! :D

The most funny game i played so far, i love your artstyle and how u polish your game feel! Ending is not that surprised to me because the implication of red button is too obvious so i had guessed it.

Well done!

Thank you !

Indeed, we made our best to make people want to press that big red button, and we had to make that ending :p But to bring a bit more surprise, we wanted this ending to happen really quickly, all of a sudden, without any transition :D

This game was so funny to play ! I like that the goal is simple, it make the game easy to play and you can enjoy it right from the start !

Thank you ! It was a main part of our objectives right from the start: having a simple and intuitive game, without more than a loading screen to explain it :-)

Incredible creativity and graphics, it's so funny, and I love its short and wow ending!

Thank you for your positive comment. It's nice to see that people like our game :-)
