Very interesting, I would love to see this idea expanded upon.

Cool idea but a little easy. Maybe each unused dice when you re-roll should add 1 movement to all enemies.

It's a bit too easy to win by sitting far away and yet a little to hard to just move around and collect coins, had to roll like 5 times after killing all the enemies to simply walk through the door if i was unlucky. the game looks great and feels really polished tho!

A nicely polished take on the classic "Roll to Move" mechanic. Good job! I liked the use of multiple dice to combat the pure randomness and the multiple movement types.

I do wonder if it would be improved with two things:

  1. Having "Attack" have some disadvantage (like how teleport misses out on gold). As it stands, it is strictly more powerful than "Move" in every situation and more powerful than teleport in most situations.
  2. Letting the enemies move more frequently (or more per move). As it currently stands, I had so much mobility and attack that it was very hard to fail.

That's a game I like to spend hours and hours on! Very polished and rounded! I really like the music and sfx, it fits all nicely together! Well done!

I used a similar mechanic for my game. But have to concede that yours is a better game, nicely done.

A nice and very fun puzzle game. It was hard to understand at first but the more i play the more i understand it better. Great game as expected from the monkey guy himself <3

Very pleasant and enjoyable. Good work.

Very satisfying with the bag building. But the levels are too easy and simple, can expect a lot more!

Great work. Love the moving mechanic. I think it was implemented very well. Clever way ti incorporate the theme.

Brilliant ideas and what a well-polished game! You did a great job combining dice and rogue-like system within 48 hours. As a rouge-like fan, I expect more from the randoness of the character's combat system caused by dices. For example I wish to see more types of dices with more crazy buffs. Well done!

Really well made game. Nothing much to say other than good job. Well, there is one thing, if you drag a dice out while the player is moving, you can use it to get off-grid.

Congrats on making your game for this jam!

I've already seen this concept a handful of times in this jam, but I like that you give the player options with three dice. That's always important that the player is given adequate chance to react to the randomness of dice. That, or make choices about how they want to use randomness. As always, the art and presentation is appealing and well done. Good job!

I think the levels fell a bit flat for me. The would either be done in a few turns because the key spawned in a direct line and the door was close by -OR- they took forever because either or both objective was tucked away and I sat there for 10+ turns just rolling for the right numbers. I think an objective that required less precision and allowed for more reaction would have fit better, such as defeating all the ghosts or collecting X gold. It's fine as is, but needs additional tuning to reduce the number of "do nothing" turns that can happen when you're sitting next to the exact and can't roll a 1.

Cool idea, if a bit frustrating at times. Well done. Keep making cool games!

He never dissapoints!!!!!!

Great presentation and really good quality. But a little slow for my liking. But still, awesome game

Pretty enjoyable! Not very difficult, but the movement system is satisfying and love the feeling of progression when completing a level.
