Nice little 3d game for 48 hours, the battle are indeed a bit long.  Good job !

Developer

Thank you for playing!

The art style and feel of the game was very polished and cool, the battles where easy to understand however perhaps lasted a little too long and became a bit tedious.

Overall, if given more time to polish up; adding a proper menu, settings and a story with levels the game would have alot of potential.

Good job!

Thanks for giving it a go! I wanted more time to speed up the combat but just ran out of it! Alas, lessons learnt!

it was cool what was done given the time limit :)

It feels like the battle should be a bit faster, so you can enjoy exloring part of the game more.
But the grafics are awsome, and mechanics fits in theme very well. Good job!

Awesome presentation and concept! For a 48-hour jam game, really nice!

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the kind words!

Really unique gameplay and art style , loved this game ! Good stuff overall and nicely done for a 48 hour time gap !!

You're very kind! Thank you for playing :)

I LOVED the art style and music. They're really impressive.  But I personally think that  these kind of game loops are a little bit limited since they're mostly based on luck rather than player choices. But, I was never a FRP fan, so... Maybe I'm not in the target audience :D

Developer

Thank you for giving it a shot! There was a lot more I wanted to do to make the luck important but still give the players options but as always, ran out of time!

Well done I loved it, very impressive for the time you had. The music choice matches with the turn based battles well for me, I got FF vibes which was nice. I look forward to the Android port :D

Developer

Thank you ever so much for playing! I think I might have to hit up one of my other programming friends for the port though :D

A great concept and polished artstyle. The game is something different from what many of the games use as mechanic. The pokemon like aesthetic of the "battles" is really nice. I enjoyed it a lot. Well done!

Developer

You are very kind! Glad you enjoyed playing!

I love the style of the game, paper related that evokes D&D where we used to write on paper our character and roll the dice

Developer

Thank you! Been DMing for over 15 years so that was what I was going for :D

Thanks for playing!

This was great! I love the characters and the mechanics really played into the theme. There were only a few things that I wished were included. Locking the camera down works, but I would have liked a way to rotate around to better navigate. Even if it was just a 90 degree rotation. I also wished there was something that showed how many of each dice piece you have. That said, this was a lot of fun and great work creating a very cohesive and complete entry.

Thanks for playing!

There were a lot of features I didn't get to. I wanted to add chests and items with more modifier and actions etc so I locked the camera early so the movement code would be easier but I still didn't get round to any of that. Being a mostly solo dev is hard! :D

Super cool art style and presentation. It would be nice to be able to rotate the camera, since you can't see enemies behind and to the right of you. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks for playing!

I decided to lock the camera because it makes the movement code a lot easier but in hindsight I probably could've spared the extra 30 minutes to have camera rotations. Maybe in Roll Again Again: Rolland's Return

The aesthetics, WOW! congrats on the submission!!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it! Was mostly solo this year so pretty happy with the result.

I love the hand-drawn art style. Combat feels a little slow. Very impressive for a game made in only 48 hours!

Developer

Thank you very much! I had very limited time from the artist that usually joins me so had to design everything except the characters myself. Unfortunately I didn't have a lot of time on combat tweaking. It was much slower an hour before the submission but needed even more time!

The battle mechanics are very interesting, however there's not much else to make the game feel engaging. I liked to upgrade but it still got boring after a while.

It feels very polished anyway and you certainly did a great job

Developer

Thanks for giving it a go!

I was hoping to get some item unlocks and more actions in there but just ran out of time.

This was very cool! If I where to share one pro and con in my eyes. It's satisfying to upgrade and add more dice to rolls. But the lack of a xp bar/enemies to kill until "level up" makes it feel slow, without progress.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing :)

Yeah that was on the todo list but just ran out of time!
