I loved this game so much!
I am very excited for the full game to launch, I just wish I had more interactions with the Roamantic interests, but as it is a demo, so I can understand.
I hope the project goes ahead I will try to contribute to patreon when my credit card is available

I’m sorry youre getting that error. I just uploaded an update and this version might work ^_^ if you don’t mind redownloading and extracting. This error happens because the game files got deleted

Hey there! Sometimes anti viruses immediately delete some files. Try re extracting and making sure the files are there! :)

I couldn't finish the guild dungeon, it was some kind blocked before that point with hole in the wall.

Yes, I know that's a passage, I mean I can't get to there, there's a boulder blocking the way to that wall.

The tile on the hole is interactable which will allow you to get to the chest ^.^

This demo is very impressive! I always love choices and naming characters, i feel games are much more immersive that way . I also think that story is very interesting. Once you do all the planned updates for the game, it's going to be really awesome!

I was debating for a while on whether or not I should try out this game, and boy am I glad I did!

It was super enjoyable and refreshing, usually, rpg's don't give you much of a dialogue choice beyond "nice" and "mean," so it was nice to have more than two speaking options during conversations with the wide cast of characters. Speaking of characters, all the characters felt real and had interesting personalities. The game controls were a little uncomfortable (considering I usually use wasd) but I quickly got a hold of them.

Long story short, I loved this game. And I will definitely keep up with the story as more of it comes out!

I'm glad you liked the variety of dialogue choices! Going forward, I've added way more than just multiple dialogue options :) It's got a perk system now which adds special interactions depending on your perk and situation. :) I'm glad you enjoyed it! Keep your eyes peeled for ACT 1's revision. It's a 100% different game with an overhaul of the dialogue.

It's been a while since I've got interest in playing RPG games and most of the time none really picked my interest.

While browsing, I visited the game page and saw the video you've put there. That allowed me to see your dedication into this game, thus I gave it a shot.

I only have one regret- playing a demo and loving it, when it is too soon for realease. However, do take your time and don't feel pressured in finishing the game. It would be sad to lose such great potencial. I'll be keeping an eye on this game.

Thank you so much for the kind words :) After the igmc rolls along, I’ll be reissuing ACT 1 with a revamped VN style and some added gameplay elements as well as a change in the story to make it pace better. The time skip wasn’t really planned but I had put it there so the judges can get to the romance scenes faster. I’m really glad you like it! Keep an eye out for the next version! ^_^

The story is pretty interesting. Lots of visual novel elements, voice acting, custom menus and music. Once the custom art rolls in, your game would be golden.

The battle is lackluster at the moment. The default smack and heal.

I went after the elf girl. What the game needs is a dwarfs. Can't have elves without dwarfs!

Edit: You should probably remove the default cancel choice.

Unfortunately since I was stuck with RTP I couldn’t get dwarves. Good news? I just got rid of most of the RTP :D bad news? It came in too late for the IGMC D;

I played it for quite a while now, but never got past the second boulder puzzle in the dungeon ^^°
Anyway, the story and the characters are pretty interesting and I love it when games give you romance options (*cough* Tyran). I'd be happy if the game would be continued.

It's a shame that it's only default art right now, but I'm sure with some custom made graphics, it would be much better. Sometimes, the music felt a little too much though. Not every location needs a grand soundtrack with lyrics.

In conclusion, I think it's a very nice story you should continue^^

Sadly I didn’t know about the igmc til about halfway through the contest so all the commissioned custom art wasn’t able to arrive on time. I’m glad you like it! :) and tyran was romanceable in the previous versions :) glad to see people want him back so I’ll probably re add him :)

Boulder puzzle 2 is simple, you have to ignore the Boulder and head to the next room, grab the hammer from the bottom by going through the hole in the wall and use the hammer to break the pillar next to the button :)

just got into rpgmaker games after watching twitch live streams. this was the game that was playing. didn't stay long in the stream but figured i'll download it to give it a shot. this game set the bar pretty high for me that other rpgmaker games just didn't quite match up. probably the best part about this game is the story. 4 stars for me! would be 5 if you added some more art instead of describing things in text.

I loved this and I WANT MORE. Even if it's default, for the amount of work put in in one month, it definitely shows. (psst, if you want someone to help create some custom sprites/artwork lemme know ;) ) I romanced Killian and ugh I forget her name, but the elf girl. She was adorable.

I'm really interested in knowing more about the castle stuff (I don't wanna spoil) ha, but bravo. This is probably my fave IGMC entry so far! (And I've played a LOT of them). Good luck!

I would love some help actually! I have the budget but between learning how to use MV, fixing a game breaking bug and stuff I wasn’t able to do a lot of custom stuff so I focused on plot and character development. I have played many RPG Maker games for a few years now and this is by far my favorite. I accidentally downloaded this game, mistaking it for a different game and was too lazy to bother deleting it. So I played it because I didn't want to have taken 'so much time' for nothing. I really didn't expect to enjoy it at all but now its all i'm thinking about. Thank you for making this game I LOVED it. All in all I rate 5 stars! I wish you the best of luck because i know how hard it is to make a game let alone an app. I can't wait for the next update/act.

i am so glad you enjoyed yourself caelestys :) i have plans to incorporate a lot more VN elements into the game. The whole scene where the characters introduced themselves as well as the voting section will be VN in the final release :)

Default stuff here and there but man the plot and character development in this game is insane. Not to mention the foreshadowing of characters and just the variety of responses you allow the player to have definitely make this game more personal. I feel like there's definitely some replay value here. I was a bit disappointed not to see more custom art aside from that title screen but I really connected with the characters. I hope the judges get to the castle section at least cause you stuffed a lot of side content and i'm worried they won't get to that point within an hour. TL;DR: Good job! 5 stars from me!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. Definitely going for more intricate plots and expanding more on the other NPCs. I firmly believe in creating a world that isn't black and white in terms of morality and alignment.
