I really adore the art and the music in this! I feel like I could listen to the main in-game theme all day. It was a bit confusing at times and I finally was able to board the flight on my third try, as reading the instructions with the timer ticking down was quite difficult for me. Despite that, I had a lot of fun throughout each try.
On another note, for some reason the walking animations weren't triggering on my first attempt but it seemed to fix itself on my second attempt.
Overall this game was a blast to play, nice work!
After about a half of an hour, I've finally managed to beat the game. This has a great deal of potential and the art and music are both super cute and fun but it could really benefit from more clear and concise instructions, preferably as visual ques and button prompts that indicate where to go and what to do. Reading and understanding even just a short paragraph can be too much to handle when under time pressure.
During the first section, where you find your package, I wasn't able to find any pattern to where the package appeared so it felt pretty random. The passport maze is a really fun idea but, depending on where the passport spawns, it can be either very difficult or a little too easy to find. Maybe simplify the maze a little or reduce the randomness of where the passport spawns? The security check section is quite fun but I had to read the comments in order to understand how to get past it. During the final section, I didn't actually understand to go behind the counter. That's probably my own fault but maybe consider adding some arrows or path outlines on the floor.
All in all, this is a really great entry an I'm looking forward to seeing where you take in in the future!
I can not pass the remove items section, even tho I remove all thing they wanted me to remove. It would be nice if I could skip the tutorial, the music is good and the controls fell very good as well, its really fun just driving over people in the beginning.
Thanks for playing! Sorry, that minigame is probably a little unclear. What you need to do is clear the belt from all the objects. If an anollowed objects reaches the metal detector, the belt stops for 3 seconds. BUT, if you try to throw a good object, the belt stops for 2 seconds, and it's cumulative. So, if you keep pressing "E" close to good objects, you basically stop the belt forever, and loose.
Will try to make this clearer after jam is over. I plan to add a timer somewhere to see the effect of removing good objects
Nice game! Love the fish characters haha and also the music is great! Good work
The music! OH the music was absolutely ON POINT!
It kept me wanting to play despite 4 failed attempts to reach security with a passport.
Unfortunately, they wouldn't let me through even when it was lit green. So, I threw my luggage at them and angrily slid away!
I had a great time playing your game btw :)
Great work and use of the theme! Took a few tries to stop and read what I was supposed to do, but I persevered and made it. Knocking fish people around was great, and I really liked the character design. Everything has a nice cohesive look. This is just solid. Well done!
awesome game! didn't pass the security check yet but fun game nonetheless. I think it is a bug that the trolly can be thrown with the left click into the maze as well.
I really like the art direction, and I love the goofy concept, definitely put a smile on my face! I'm not sure if I was doing something wrong or if it's a bug, but I played through multiple times, and each time at security, even though I cleared the conveyor belts of all offending items, I couldn't progress. Was I missing something?
This is definitely a fun game with lots of goofs and interesting mechanics. It felt like I really had to rush to get to my next flight and all the minigames made sense for the airport theme. My favorite part of course is shouting "Where is my package!?" while I ram through crowds of people lol
The varied gameplay tied along with the progressively frantic music really sold this game as a nice cohesive experience. I ran into a few frustrating bugs that based on some comments here were probably the result of some last minute changes to add a tutorial into the game, but they did make the experience a little confusing the first few times I played. All in all, I enjoyed the art direction and thought the thumbnail image was eye catching and appealing, nice job!
I genuinely did not expect this to be as difficult as it was haha!
Loved the design of the fishes and the character, so cute!
I also like how you made it so the music sped up as the clock ticked down, I have never felt such stress being a cat trying to get to my flight D:
Great game, good job chief!
Couldn't really figure it out but had fun knocking over all the fishies
