simple concept, but controlling the ball is not so easy, it's cool. encountered a bug that on the conveyor belt can get stuck, to get out you need to roll left or right.

Thanks IvonBarabash, appreciate your comment! :)

The game is simple, and I think it's kind of cute. The balls with the hats reminds me a little of Golf It, if you're familiar with that.

A couple of things. As someone pointed out, when you fall off the map, it doesn't restart, which isn't a big deal. However, I found a glitch - when you get to the big part of the main platform, if you are on the side closest to the spawn, and are touching the conveyor belt on the far right and press jump at the same time, the game just... restarts. Additionally, I found the final ball first, and he congratulated me on finding all of them, which isn't a big deal, but may want to be careful with hard coding dialogue like that in the future.

Overall, good job, was a fun game to play!

Hi Crazycucumbers - I do appreciate you saying the glitches. I hadn't even thought that someone would find the 3rd ball first! :)

This was definitely a unique one. I do appreciate physics based 3D puzzles like this, and this game was a lot of fun! That being said, there were some flaws as mentioned by others. However, that is to be expected, a Game Jam is to test new things and have fun, not release a fully polished game! Good work!

Thanks Shpimpasta that was a nice comment!

when you fall of you don't restart

Thanks for commenting Guess the word! Yeah, I wanted to add a collider to automatically do this but ran out of time

visuals are damn good! jumping is a bit sensitive, kept falling off boundary. also sideways jumping was a task to get on the conveyors. a little tutorial would be nice. you reset button is being chopped off, i just clicked it out of curiosity.

Developer

Hi SerenePixels - thanks :)! and thanks about saying about the reset button. Will have to fix that.

I can see this having great potential as a rage game haha. The conveyor belts look nice :), with some cool environment art this game will look great! Random suggestion but maybe put some sort of liquid shader in the ball and make the outside transparent, which splashes around - this would be satisfying and complementary to the gameplay.

Developer

Thanks KiranMusic, I like your suggestion and if I attempt to do this game again (but better and easier), I'll try that out!

Holy smoke ! Those controls are hard !

Rolling a ball on belts (what could go wrong ?) Made me want to ragequit a bunch of time !

Only little feedback I can give is that you put clickable buttons but your games don't use the mouse in the gameplay. meaning you have to go grab you mouse in the middle of the play whish usually break gameflow for the player. You should let the player validate/navigate UI with the keyboard, and maybe bind your reset button to a keyboard key (you can look into EventSystem.firstSelectedGameObject if you don't know how :) )

Appart from that the game works well. Good job :)

Developer

Hi Szym, Yep I agree - it's too hard. I did the level design in the last hour before it needed to be submitted (life got in the way). Helpful about the reset - I wouldn't have known if you hadn't have said. Thank you!

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! They say you should sell your game with a gif, I think you might've sold your game with a sound bite :D. So my critisim would be that the controls are really floaty and frustrating but the platforming was short enough that the frustration didn't last that long and I got to feel a nice relief at the end, so I guess actually you found a way to make floaty controls enjoyable :D. Other than that I think the doors were my favorite part.. love me some physics doors.. and I liked the surprise of getting jump after saving the first fellow, though I did think I was in for a metroidvania after that.. Nice work :)

Developer

Hi PetPumpkin, Helpful to know - I was wondering about the floatiness. I really appreciate your feedback! :)

I got jump scared every time i got the sound lmao anyway was simple but quite fun to mess around in good for submitting a game too well done

Developer

Glad you found it fun - I'd liked to have had 2-3 more hours to do level design, but that's my time management issues. Cheers for commenting! :)
