Love the gq;eplqy here! Some wonky colliders that make that hinders the experience, but it's great overall. I like the different abilities! And also, it's cute x)
Great job!

Really solid game idea. Cofeels feels a bit "floaty" and unintuitive, for example pushing the box is very slow like if the box was weighting tones, but once the same box has to fall it seems to float as if it was on the moon. You also stick to walls and objects which is a bit uncomfortable to play. Art is lovely I really liked it, and some of these puzzles were challenging. Well done!

Really cool idea and I'm impressed that you managed to do variations on the story and characters. Cool music and it matches the theme really well. Though I didn't like that the players stick to a wall when they hit one after jumping. Was that intentional? Personally didn't like it but maybe it's just a bug or a personal preference. Otherwise cool game! I might explore it more later on. I only tried one pair so far.

That was cool - fun little puzzles, not too hard which I like. Only down side was getting stuck on edges/corners/boxes while jumping and the pushing mechanic being quite slow. Otherwise it's great!

I am thoroughly impressed by these mechanics and how you made 4 different characters! Once I got into it I really enjoyed it!

Some feedback tho, it was a little confusing at first to find the controls. So that could easily be cleared up!

Also it was slightly laggy, but that might just be the WebGL hosting fudging up

Thank you for the kind words! we wanted to have a different difficulty for more experienced platformer players so we ended up coding 4 different abilities lol! I agree other than basic mechanics we did not cover controls in the game other than on the game page. The lag issue seems to be something outside of our control unfortunately since with out testing the game was fine but others experienced that! We are happy you enjoyed the game! =D

Wow, incredible you made 4 different characters with 4 different mechanics in a jam game!  I like the art and the level design. Unfortunately I had problem with  the screen and didn't see the top of the level sometimes, so  I  couldn't finish it.

Good job!

Developer

Thank you for the kind review! yeah unfortunately we had some bugs with UI since we weren't able to test any screen ratio outside of 1920 x 1080 which we think may have been the culprit for that. We are happy you liked our game =D

cool game. Neat concept for the jam. I like that the different difficulties had different sets of ability. Don't really have too much to say about the easy difficulty. For the medium levels, the shrinking ability wasn't super interesting for the first few levels but I'm glad to say the later levels used the mechanic in a more interesting way. One problem was the collision being a bit wonky. Only really noticed it in the medium difficulty levels but it seemed to get worse as the levels went on.  Also for the easy level, it does not say how to switch characters. Overall still an enjoyable game

Cool concept, loved that there were four characters each with different abilities and separated by 'difficulty levels.' Unfortunate that the wall hit detection made vertical platforming a bit choppy. Overall good work on this!

I think this game nailed the theme; I really like the whole concept behind it! However, because of the potato computer that I played it on, I wasn't able to see the whole screen, which would have been fine if both characters had a camera assigned to them, but perhaps a smaller resolution would have been more fitting for a simple game with pixel art.
I enjoyed the art, the option for difficulty, the tutorial, options for audio, and the puzzles were nice and engaging but not too difficult.
Great work!

Nice retro puzzle game. I would like to ask : is a difference between the woman's jump and the man one ? I had the feeling that the man jump less far (or i'm a noob, it's possible ! :D) Good job.

Developer(+1)

Thank you for the review! if you are talking about the easy levels, yes Dani, the female character, can double jump however Lew, the male character, cant.

Man, I really wanted to love this game so much, and think it could have been among the best in the jam, but for a few really bad issues, such as forcing the UI to be full-screen mode - and even then, it took a few tries before it would load properly.   The lag on WebGL made it impossible to time certain jumps.  Lew got soft-locked to the door in level 5 and the players kept sticking to the walls (physics material?).

Otherwise, the concept was really well-planned and well-executed, with a really cute art style.  I like that you had four different characters, each with their own abilities, across two different play modes.  The music and SFX were on point.  Again, was really rooting for this one, but it just became unplayable for me.  Sorry.  Maybe others had better luck.

Developer(+1)

Sorry to hear u had those problems. From our testing we discovered some problems with the UI and Wall Physics Materials. We aren't too sure what would cause the lag on WebGL or the loading maybe thats an issue with your pc specs? we didnt have those problems and they dont seem to be common problems. Thank you for the kind words we are happy you liked our game! =D

This game is adorable! I like the difficulty options, concept and pixel art ^-^

I had a little bit of trouble with the jumping controls:

I had occasions where the character would be mid-jump and  get  stuck on the sides of the walls/crates/edges of floors instead of keep going up or falling down since the jump was interrupted. Also there were cases where they  just wouldn't jump at all.

It wasn't that bad but it made me lose a couple of times so my timing got kinda bad haha  >_<

Regardless of that little issue, it was a really fun experience, congrats on the game! \(^▽^)/

Thank you for the kind review! sorry to hear you experienced that. There were some bugs we found in the build but we didnt have the free time to finish before the deadline. We are glad you had a fun time playing! =D

Nice pixel art and a fun and cute experience, good job!

Really love the game! Amazed on how you can put up the art and game in a week! Especially loved the level designs. Would be great if the overall pace could be faster, like when I was pushing a block on Easy mode it felt a bit slow to me. Other than that, great game!

8:42 on easy mode. I wonder if that's good or bad. XD It was a good game though I do have to say the third level (I think it was the third. It was the one where blocks are introduced) had me stumped. I only got past it because of what I assume was a glitch. I managed to clip through the final barrier before it closed completely. Aside from that, I thought it was great!

Great game ver polished. Good work!

This was quite an enjoyable game to play, and I loved the art.

The puzzles weren't super hard or anything, more focused on platforming. But I enjoyed what was there.

The characters are quite sticky, not sure if that's intentional. On level 5 of the second couple I only had to use the door switch, because I could pseudo-walljump my way over, maybe that was intentional as an alternate route. And on level 6 I had the shrink person follow the falling block in the bottom right down off screen, which didn't reset them, had to restart the level, very minor things :)

Fun take on the theme! The artwork was very nice and fitting and the puzzles were well thought out!
