Other than the movement bug previously stated, I like the general concept of this. The beginning was a bit confusing but I figured it out by just trying everything.

Couldn't get past the wierd shop thing at the start.

But I liked the face it ran in a window \o/

Developer

Finding the entrance is part of the puzzle. Windows are great.

Interesting mechanics and while I felt a bit dizzy playing this, the movement was spot on. Really nice to see something with a hacking context. Oh and I really like the elevated(?) ceiling tiles.

Developer

The ceiling tiles started as a bug but I left in an improved version because I thought it looked interesting. Thanks for playing!

Took me a while to just get out of the menu system in beginning. Figured out the gameplay after a while ans its a bit fun but very repetitive. I played for a while upgrading user level and more but the game ended up crashing on me.

Developer

Thanks for playing! I think I know why you crashed and I have a fix for this to release soon!

I'm still not sure what all the warez does. Some explanation might be good. Fun game.

Developer

Fun fact: I couldn't actually figure out how to display a description using my system without pausing the menu each time you changed the selection. Perhaps figuring out what does what is part of the fun? Probably not. Thanks for playing!

Super trippy but fun and very unique!

Encountered a bug where I could walk through some walls and doors didn't open but I could walk through them

Dang, I thought I squashed that bug. For some reason leaving a data-room without gathering data sometimes (rarely) pushes you off-track but the camera position stays behind.  Bugfix imminent! Thank you so much for playing.

Wow, thank you so much for the in-depth (and quite flattering) review. There's enemies but you've buffed up your Tracker so quickly enemies didn't even see you. This and some of your other comments are taken into account with the upcoming patch. Again, thanks!

The game is fun, altogether.

I did not manage to win very likely because I overused compression, it's my fault and it's fine, apprehending the different mechanisms and using them is all the point and all the fun of the gae.

In the context of this game I don't know how much I like that you can easily avoid any combat, it feels like you ignore it rather than working around it, if this makes any sense.

There are a few bugs, pressing num after choosing spahoof makes the game crash and the stats are not always visible (I had the impression it depends on the "seed"? I don't think they randomly appeared and dissapeared but rather than in some games they were visible and in other games they were not) but nothing really crippling.

Developer

You're right that it's currently way too easy to avoid combat all together. I tried to err on easy but overshot it a bit. I have some fixes lined up that will make it impossible to disconnect without losing gathered data, unless you return to the start. This should spruce things up considerably. Thanks a lot for the valuable feedback and giving my game an honest go!
