Use of the limitation
I wanted to make this game "on-rails", only with the aesthetic of a platformer. Because it's on rails, all movement (enemies and camera) is pre-determined. No seeding was involved either; all enemy patterns were handcrafted by me.

Interesting on rails shooter platformer!  Really fun to play! Nice work!!

Super satisfying to play. The art, sound, and gameplay are all very coherent. Great job!

The art is super cute. Especially if you drew it yourself. Reminds me of aim trainer. If I'd have to add something, I'd add machine-gun powerup and maybe one super hard to catch enemy. I really liked the score multiplier, I think it adds to the game a lot of motivation to do shoot faster and more precisely. The game is short, but for a jam it's a big +.

It's the first "on-rails" game that I seem done this way and to be far as I'm making games I never thought of making a game like this. You just expanded my mind. Thank you.

Fun arcade shooter wish it was longer but, I understand Time was a bit tight. other than that you have pollished gameplay and nice look and feel tho, more juice can always be added to add more impact to the shoots.

Great Job!

I wish it was too. I had envisioned a lot of cool stuff for the game. For example, I call it "on-rails", but the camera only pans to the right. I wanted it to be more cinematic, with camera zooms,  tweening, more "animated" behavior of the enemies, also those bricks were supposed to be breakable with enemies behind them. In the end, you can only do so much with the skillset/time you have, but I'm glad you enjoyed what I did have!

A fun game, i got 14,000 pts the first try, and 17390 the second. i like that certain critters are worth more points

Pretty fun, but the enemies get stuck at the end.

Developer

That's intended! Poor little critters couldn't get away ;(

Oh then....

Love the music! It goes along with the game mechanics!

Hah this was good fun! I really enjoyed the rail-rider style, and it was relaxed not having to focus on one particular type of creature. Music was a little loud for me though, but very fitting for this game. Nicely done!

Haha glad you found it relaxing. Began worrying it would be too stressful/all over the place with everything going on. Thanks!
