Hard and quite fun but big - for not suporting W S controls :P

Developer

Haha, I had considered that but I ended up just going with arrows and mouse. I'll think about doing that next time though!

Very cool visual style and controller! Great work!

that was pretty fun, the game ramped up quick with new mechanics, the ground slam was really nice, it had good juice to it, and it fit the theme well. it was pretty awesome, Thanks

A great interpretation of the theme! The gameplay was solid and a lot of fun - I played up to level 6 with a death tally of 74. If do feel that the hit boxes of the spikes could be just a tiny bit smaller so that close calls are more in favor of the player.

This was a ton of fun.
It fits the theme perfectly and the implementation is great too.
Great soundtrack and the difficulty curve is fair.
Well done.

Best game I've played in this jam honestly. Awesome concept, wicked realization, just enough juice and the difficulty curve is good. Well done :)

Developer

Wow thanks, that's very kind of you!

Great idea, and I think it's a great sign when you can manage such difficulty in a jam game and it not be frustrating. Really fun - thank you!

This game is really hard. I don't have the determination to beat it, but I get that the point of the gamen is to be hard so it's a fantastic game.

Love the fast-paced and challenging gameplay!

Really cool one, my brain is full smoke. I would like to try it vertically just to see ^^.

Game is fun! First thing I noticed was the teaching (lastest GMTK video was still in my head I guess) simple teaching of how to play without explicit tutorials. Speed of retries was also crucial and well thought. Persevered through more than 100 deaths before having to give up :/

Game certainly felt fair and achievable, always a one more feeling and very satisfying when you manage to get further than before. Great game!

Developer

Thank you for playing! I'm glad you feel you could figure out the game's mechanics by playing, that was definitely my goal to not have to over-explain everything and instead let the player figure it out for themselves.

This game was really well designed to teach the player how to master the simple controls as they progress through the game, it just felt really nice too with great presentation and the simple graphics with squash effects and trails look good. With about 450 deaths I managed to get through it and the [Secret] bonus at the end amazes me that it was implemented within time constraints!

Developer(+1)

Thank you I'm glad you liked it! The bonus mode was a stretch goal but it ended up being easier to implement than I expected due to how I set up the levels in chunks, so it was pretty straightforward to just stitch random chunks together.

I like that idea of pushing each one on double arrow punch) Seems like geometry dash a bit)

Love the level design and all the polish, especially the squashing of the cube when you jump. Don't think I'm quite skilled enough to do some of the later levels but really well done. Also I think we follow each other on twitter lol

Developer(+1)

Haha, yeah I actually found your game through twitter. I appreciate you tried mine out!

The last level was too hard for me to complete but I think this is done really well. Simple but the reliance on both characters needing to launch each other is the main concept that makes this game stand out, Great execution.

Sweet game!  Really great game feel.  The game is a little too difficult for me, but its a great idea.

The game is really fun ! At first, I thought it wouldn't be very original but the fact that you can slam to the floor makes it very interesting. The level design is cool and very challenging (I couldn't beat the last level but if I have took more time I should have beat it).
Good job with this game!

Developer

I was worried I made the last level a bit too hard but I figured it's there for the crazy people xD Thanks for playing!

Submitted(+1)

Nice! It gets challenging really quickly without adding too much complexity to the game. Very well executed concept.

Well done. The core gameplay looks similar to the game "Geometry dash". Good luck in the future jams.

Developer

I definitely took some inspiration from the Impossible Game (Which I think inspired Geometry dash xD). Glad you liked it!

Submitted(+1)

Yes. Your version is great! I liked it. Thank you.
