Ohh- nice concept, and easy to get into a flow state there :)

The music getting faster in time was a nice touch. I did find the colour shifting sometimes made it hard to see what was going on.

But I had a lot of fun :D

Pretty original concept, I really liked this. The difficulty curve is well balanced, it gets more difficult in a good speed and it's a lot of fun to play. Nice one!

I found it interesting and fun.

But I feel that there is something more to be done, it seems that just moving up and down is too little.

Unique rhythm game mechanic! I love how stressed the music makes me as it all ramps up. An idea I had while playing was that you could add in coins or something that aren't on the path to encourage players to risk breaking away before frantically rushing to rejoin. Had a lot of fun with this!

It's amazing the pace that builds up along with the mechanics and the music. Really fun, it got me in the zone. Congrats.

Maybe I'm just bad at rhythm games, but the most fun part was when I took a wrong turn and had to frantically try to rejoin the chain as my score was depleted.  I don't know how but it would be fun to make this part of the game a little more prevalent.

2745 - I think this would work amazingly as a rhythm game, well done!

Good game! My high score is 2680. I really liked how the music sped up with the game as well to help heighten the tension. With a little more juice like screenshake and other effects you could have the next flappy bird on your hands! :)

Rather a good-feeling game to play. It's almost a rhythm game with the strong beat, but it does feel a bit out of sync. The movement cooldown is also somewhat long, which does make sense, but may reduce how fast the game can end up, or introduce a reasonable cap to how far you can get. The most fun part of the game is honestly when you accidentally disconnect and have to try to find a way back to the rope: you're not just copying the movement of what's in front of you. It would be really cool if there was some kind of incentive to breaking the chain sometimes to have that gameplay segment be more common. I like that there's some push-your-luck element too, with getting closer to the blockers being slightly more profitable, but dangerous.

Developer

Wow, I think this is the first time somebody mentioned anything about disconnecting, and you raised a couple good points! I will mention that the movement cooldown does reduce as the waves get faster, but I'd like to do it in a smoother way in the future so that it's not so egregiously slow at the beginning. Or at the very least make it more obvious when you can or can't move, in which case I'd probably tie the movement cooldown to the beat. I'd actually really like to implement an incentive for breaking off and see how it affects the gameplay, it sounds fun. Thank you!

I got 2776! When it speeds up it gets fast! I liked how the music often lined up with the block placement. Very cool game design idea.

Came here intending to beat the high score, but I was only able to hit 2800, this game is definitely really fun and addictive and I think it'd make a great mobile game!

Fun game I like how the music seems to ramp up as things speed up and get harder. But overall I love how the game looks and the simple yet enjoyable gameplay.

Very fun! I got around 2498, but I only got so far because I turned off the music. Not sure if that's a good thing.

This was fun! The music was sometimes out of sync with the changes, which threw me off a couple times. It also got a bit hard to look at at higher speeds. Those are my only complaints though, I had a lot of fun playing this! Good work!

Simple but really fun

Was fun to play a couple of rounds! I would have preferred difficulty in the form of different challenges or maybe having to climb multiple layers at a time as opposed to just speeding up the screen, as it started to hurt my eyes after a certain point. Still, fun overall experience and good arcade game!

Developer

Thanks for playing! There's a lot of visual things I've got to try to make sure it's less eye-strainy when I take it further; thanks for pushing through though and going a couple rounds!

2,596 was my final score! It felt like a Rythm Heaven game, and I really like how you implemented the theme "join together" into the mechanics. I'd only like to see more variety in the future with more levels, but it was a fun concept. Great work.

Developer

That's a fair assessment, it does seem like it'd fit into a rhythm heaven compilation sort of game; definitely something to keep in mind if I take it further! Thank you!

Got a high score of 2670! Very simple game but love the idea of having to be constantly lined up with yourself.

Pretty cool, loved how the music lines up with the movement. Very Nice =)
