Great idea! Straight to the point and sweet. Took me a while to get that the health was linked to the ammo, but very cool.

Love the idea of connect the health with the "ammo".
Like the graphics too.
The transition time between the levels are too long in my opinion.
But solid work here
Very nice sprite and animation work. I like the details on the liquid squishing around and the particle effects are so nice. I feel that the dash is really more for escaping dangerous situation and the only real form of attack worth using is the splash since at least that either kills in one hit or the enemy is one hit away because trying to dash into them takes too long to defeat and I get hit every time. :P
Fun game! I found that waiting for the health to come back was a bit slow, possibly a pickup to heal health? I find the mechanics to be fun and well-rounded. The game overall is pretty polished and interesting. Great title :)
Awesome visuals and gameplay, but it didn't feel too related to the theme.. Great work though!
cool game mechanic, and really nice art. super impressive.
I really love the music the art and the animations! Great job!
Art was really beautiful, nice colors and animations ^^ The music was also nice, good job!
Interesting game. It was a bit tough to figure out I had to leave the level instead of just killing all enemies and was stuck in the first stage for a while until I noticed the dummy was immortal. Was a bit disappointed because the bottle didn't break when you died, but that's just me :P
cool game, though maybe some short tutorial is needed, i was a bit confused in the beginning
I love the presentation! Very cute artstyle and amazing polish with the camera shake effects, little dust particles when walking and the potion animations for different health levels. The sound and music are also very well done.
The gameplay, while satisfying, was a bit confusing for me. I thought that enemies took damage when touching walls (because of the hit effect) but I got one stuck bouncing between 2 walls and it did not die, so I ruled it out :p
I think it would be cool if instead of passive health restoration, small potions would appear randomly that would heal you when collected. So instead of idly waiting to get health back, you'd have to look around the level to find them. But of course that would take much more time to add and time is not something you've got plenty of in 48h jam.
Great job!
i really like the art and music, but i think a faster pace would be more suitable for a game like this one. like the others said here, i usually just try to dash away and wait around for my health to regenerate so that i could attack again. i think using the bottle cap and potion contents as a way to track your dash and your health is a cool idea, but it took me a while to realize that the bottle cap was connected to my dash at all. i heard the time limit didn't give you enough time to make a tutorial, so these problems may be a result of that. still, i like the idea and how it turned out :)
My favorite game since now!
The bouncing of the potion feels SO right, I can just see it jump back and force for minutes! The art is simple but clean and I LOVE IT!
I like the idea that the potion itself is the hero, make the health very intuitive without UI.
The two skills are smart too. I like both of them! I agree it is a little hard to estimate the health/energy left though, so I never let it go too little lol. Guess that's part of the skill the game want player to practice.
If anything to complaints is the level is too short and enemies are too easy to defeat! I'd love to see more for this game!
Awesome job!
The polish jumps out hard, really elegant design that removes as much UI from the screen as possible.
This is a really well-designed game, as others have mentioned it is a perfect fit for the theme through and through. Well done!
