I actually really liked this! I love the drawn quality of the art and the 3 stacked characters are hilarious. I was also super impressed with the music, definitely thought it was premade until I saw you made it yourself! The mechanics were fun too to combine cards, not just to get 2 bonuses, but to cancel out the negatives of other cards by overriding it with a positive, super smart! I definitely kept hitting end turn accidentally instead of dragging the card to the enemy. I also wish there were more cards and more enemies and that it got harder/they attacked for more than 5 ever. But it's a game jam haha great job!

This was a nice idea! I like that not all cards are the full 3 units high. Seems like you can really play around with the composition that way. I wish there were more variety in card effects, but the concept is really good. Nice work!

I love the sort of Castle Crashers cartoony style. The deckbuilding and placing of the card stacks feels inspired by Dicey Dungeons, very nice. The tune that plays in the background is nice as well. Well done!

Cool game, really nice music! I love the idea of combining skills to build your card. Feels like something you could explore further to make a bigger, more balanced game!

Really nice! I liked how some cards can remove a bad effect where they place their good effect - what a fun interaction!

i really liked this game. are you going to expand it after the jam?

Definitely, we're all super excited by the premise. This is something that we took the jam as an opportunity to prototype for and will definitely be building more on top of. Stay posted if you're interested and thanks for playing! :D

IT looks fun. Onboarding is kind of gard as i didn't know how to use combined card. Game would be awesome with some more fluff and contetnt :) good job!

Thanks for playing! Yeah we didn't have time for any sort of player onboarding since all the main mechanics took enough time to implement already. We're going to keep working on the project post-jam and will definitely keep that in mind for future builds.

The music stands out as very memorable. The gameplay was confusing at first in the sense that I didn't know how to interact with the enemy and if there was more functionality for the player. After about a minute though the gameplay was very simple to grasp

Music is jamming. And the concept is fun and funny, I love Slay the Spire and this is warming my heart.

I've actually never heard of Slay the Spire, is it good? (lmao, I love it too)

Cool concept! Too bad you didn't have more time to expand on the idea more. Lots of potential for sure!

Thanks for playing! We're going to keep developing post jam if you are interested :D

Really cool idea! I wish you had explored it more, making the cards combine in different ways when you override existing slots. The idea has a TON of potential. Well done!

I wish we had too! There was a lot of implementation for the 3 of us already plus we all work so last a good chunk of time to that. We're definitely going to keep working on this project post-jam, we're all really excited about it. Stay posted if you're interested! Thanks for playing!

Very difficult - I didn't receive any cards for the middle stack but I love the idea. Died many times. But the music was really fun and made me keep coming back for more.

This game is incredible, and has so much potential! I really enjoyed playing it, the one issue is that in it's current state, it's really janky and hard to understand. You should really consider working on it more after the jam.

Thanks for playing! We're definitely going to continue working on this project. Wish we could've ironed out the jank a bit more before the end of the jam but it was already a lot to implement for the three of us. Stay posted :D
