In what way does your game fit the theme?
The player rewinds the cogs to reverse the direction of platforms, and another reason that won't be revealed until the end.

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and made all the art myself. Some sound effects were used from Freesound under the Creative Commons licence.

Amazing art, unconventional approach to theme. Great work!

The puzzle design was great and the art is stunning both visually and aurally. I really liked the decisions in colours and design. I also liked your double approach to the theme, didn't expect the ending. Great job!

P.S: Had a great time playing Souls of the Grumpps with you! It was nice to meet you!

Hey, it's you! That was a fun time playing with you earlier :)

and thanks for playing! That double approach in the ending was actually a last-day decision haha, but I'm super happy I thought of it.

Lovely atmosphere. I really liked the sound effects and the old man falling was hilarious. The player movement was also very satisfactory, great job!

Love the pixel art style, the music and the original take on the theme. When I first started I felt like the player character moved a bit slow, but over time I felt that it fit with the tone of the game and come to like the pace it set. Great game!

This is such a lovely game! The sound effects are awesome. The graphics work really well with the theme as well. Overall it's really polished and a fantastic game. Great job!

I like this take on using the theme for a platformer! The visuals were good, and I really liked the death screen shake haha. The water mechanic was also a lot of fun. I think it would be cool to see this with some more puzzle elements, like having multiple cranks and you have to figure out which ones to wind and stuff! The only thing I noticed was your character made his landing "oof" even if you didn't fall at all (like if you jump onto a platform above you and don't fall). Great game! Really enjoyed playing :)

If you have time please consider playing my game!

This is really good! vary polished with excellent sound design. I like you take on the theme too. I did something similar for my game (which also happens to take place in a clock)

Oh god this is a masterpiece. I follow your channel but this is absolutely the best game you've made in a jam so far. the attention to ditails is amazing, you can feel the oldness of the character by his speed, his animation, the sound effect, the camera shake: you feel his heavyness.

brilliant

if you want to give a try to my submission too, I'd really appriciate it.

Remember that in the third level due to a bug it doesn't show up the "press shift to rewind" text :blue_heart:

I loved this, well done!

Very relaxing platformer puzzle game, the pixel art looks great as well. I also like your take on the theme, it's unique and allows for some good puzzles. The character movement feels somewhat slow, but I don't mind, I think it helped with making more accurate jumps in the long run. Great work!

The game looks amazing, really you must've put your heart in the game while making it.

First 5/5 I gave out in this jam really lovely game. The audio especially makes a really melancholic atmosphere. Puzzles were a bit simple but I'm not a big fan of puzzle games so that suited me.

Thank you! I worked hard on making the music not annoyingly repetitive

Really liked how heavy the main character felt, audio, jump and especially impacts falling down! I understand it's hard work getting up this clock tower!! 🤣 Think my favorite floor was the one with lots of waterfalls, had you thinking on the fly to solve it.

Developer(+1)

I think that's my favourite level too :)

I'm not usually a big fan of platforming games - especially for game jams - but this game was incredible.  Polished beyond belief.  GREAT JOB!

Loved the game I really enjoyed watching you build it on stream in the background while I pulled my hair out over my own submission lol.

Developer(+1)

Happy to hear you watched my stream! Hopefully I was good background music haha

I liked everything about this game

So relaxing to play and very pretty, loved the jump effect :)

Very cute little game. I think the puzzles could have been slightly hard toward the end but its still great! and the ending is amazing

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Yeah I decided to keep the levels relatively easy so most people will be able to get to the end.

yeah I guess it a good tactic... we made our game quite challenging toward the end and I wonder how many people actually finished it... anyway your game is super cool. definitely one of the best!
