Hey I've been playing this quite a bit and I'm really enjoying it. I'm just wondering is it possible that the players description could effect their stats in game? like a strong muscular character could carry more but get hungry faster things along those lines. I'm not expecting you to add it or anything based on my question I am just curious that's all. Thanks for making such a fun little game by the way.
Kind of? There are traits you can select, like night vision, or hollow bones, or wings, or fur/scales, etc that do affect your stats. There aren't a TON of them yet, but there are quite a few. Perhaps in the future we might get the ability to create/customize ones which would be neat.
TECHNICALLY your appearance/description can affect your "charisma" stat with the NPC's though. Which is just a really roundabout way of saying that if you put something in your description like "You're actually a long time resident of silverpine, and everyone knows and loves you." The NPC's will just act like that is the case. I've done this before to make characters that are Oriana/Celandines third sister before (cuz I luff sneks).
All portraits use this style . The base images were created using various other stable diffusion models. Once custom NPCs are done, I might write a guide on how to use it to stylize your base images without mangling them.
thanks! looks like there's a version for noobai too which is what modern checkpoints like yiffymix are based on so i'll have to mess around with it
You only need Smooth Style 2 and default Pony. It's important that you pass your base image through Img2Img multiple times instead of using a high denoising value. Use the following settings: DPM++ 3M SDE, CFG 6.5-7, Denoise 0.35-0.5, Steps 25-30.
The crop of your base image has to be square so you can use a resolution of exactly 1024x1024. Pass it through Img2Img with a random seed, then take the output and put it through Img2Img again. Do that about 4 times and it should match the style pretty closely.
Well dang. My base image is 2:3. I guess I can add empty space to the sides and fill it with white to match background so its 1216x1216 and scale down to 1024x1024 in Gimp. Is the 1:1 ratio have something to do with generation the image or is it a clipvision/tiling the image thing? Or is it just for the lowered buzz cost or model training preferring square images over tall ones and it starts guessing?
I've been keeping the LoRA weight for Smooth 2 at 0.7 - 0.8, CFG at 6.5, and Steps at 30, also leaving the CLIP Skip at 2, but I've been having issues getting the denoise to affect the image much so I've been playing with it. I didn't realize you were running it through multiple times, so this might be the answer I was looking for.
I've been using the DPM++ 2M Karras Sampler, since I can't find the 3M SDE anymore, unless I'm generating in the wrong function? I should ask just to be sure, you're using the Image Variation and not Image to Image, right? I'm not sure what the difference is, but the latter seems more for photos.
Thanks again for the advice.
i like it the game even if is miss of pic naked on the character of base when our want get undress for do naughty stuff but i like it even if don't know how make my dragon character but i have idea later unless you plan later is add of skill for add more of stats in the life, stamina, make more damage to enemy and carry more on the body and too some one can explain me how add item in the bar of hotkey?
To add an item to the bar you right-click on the slot you want, your inventory will come up, and you can choose which item from inventory, (I think only consumable items like drinks, food, potions, etc can be selected) and click select. It should be on the bar now. Left-click the bar item to use or use num-pad for hotkey. You can go into settings to config your hotkeys.
If you already have your character's big dialog image, you can resize it to 32 x 32 pixels and edit it with GIMP or other editor to make the sprite look nude. Doesn't have to be perfect, because it's pixels.
For example:
Oriana doesn't have a nude sprite, but I made one by resizing her full image to a 22x32 image and editing the pixels.
Original resized:
Edited nude:
It's not perfect, but I only spent an hour or two on it. You can try to do similar with your character to make the nude sprite.
i have a pic of dialogue but the problem i don't know well drawn so is more hard for me but i have use IA for get the pic but like make two pic one cloth and one naked but like the body is no same is more chard to make for the expression but wait you make nude edut if Oriana? because the character NPC never remove their cloth even moment of spirit
You don't need to generate another large picture with AI for the nude sprite. The nude sprite will be small and easier to edit by hand with an editor. So, you can use the dialog picture you had AI generate, make a copy for editing, shrink it to around 32x32. Change the pixels so it looks nude. That way it looks like the same character and the pose is the same.
For facial expressions, you'll probably want to find an AI that can use 'inpainting' or 'iterative editing' on the generated image.
An example the dev gave several releases ago was an AI called Flux Kontext:

You can probably use this to help with the facial expression to make it easy.

well i make my image see no working on the expression i make my pic of 512x768 and like don't the good side and i don't how have nice avatar easy is will not bed easy to have my dick but for the moment i have my model but well i can't do nothing until i find the good size because for me the web site no working for me and i no have enough money for generated new one with the good stuff but is look at this
NPCs aren't reliable when they say they will give you something. Sometimes they say they will and they do. Other times they say they will or did and give it to you in role play, but not in game mechanics. If they don't, you can't make them give it to you. You can only ask and hope or cheat it in.
It's recommended to not rely on what they say. You're better off asking for an expensive item instead of money. You can sell it for 50% to Aldric. Or ask for several smaller items you can sell to the market. I once bought 50 turnips (not seeds) from Aldric at a low price per turnip (around 3.5 gold per)and he actually gave me 50. I sold them on market when the price was high. (15 or 16 gold per) Good profit. I don't know if I can get him to do it again since that was in an older release.
Here, I got bored and made him bigger(1696x2528): https://postimg.cc/Hjby8LxP
I also accidentally made him look badass and too big (3392x5056): https://postimg.cc/w7tnQnCZ
However you want to? It's in RP so whatever and however you want. Unless you meant, how to describe yourself doing actions in RP? Then you'd use asterisks around your description.
NPC will often hallucinate things with their quests, so don't take them too seriously. You can go and perform the request to the best of your ability, or you can just say you did it, and they'll likely believe you. If you get a quest that seems mechanically impossible for you to do as the player, like your request, you can use RP to give a brief montage description of your character performing the actions over however many hours, getting the request done, and coming back to the NPC to continue the conversation. You might even get rewarded for it.
Just realize that not everything that happens in RP can be reflected mechanically in game. If they promised a reward, they might say they did in RP, but you'll get nothing. Though they aren't too bad about that, it still happens. Save beforehand and reload if you really want the item/gold.
Ah, see I wasn't sure how to describe my character SPECIFICALLY doing actions and was just typing, for example.
I grab the offered axe and nod my head. "I understand, I'll be back after I finish with the wood!" Having said that. I turned to leave, not expecting a response or any follow up instructions.
Using just Double quotes to handle text and then leaving actions blank. As though I were RPing in something like F-list or Furcadia or another RP site. Not used Asterisks for a while, I'd definitely have that noted in a read-me or FAQ if that's intended.
No game needs a wiki as much as this one v.v.. but it's fun to wing it in and learn the hard way or through little tid bits in these comment windows.
Asterisks is the discord RP box.
*takes a short walk out the front door, waving to Gareth as he leaves to get the job done for him. Methodically taking his axe to every felled branch in the woods surrounding the tavern until the sun had moved high into the sky and he had only the task of carrying the remains of each branch back to the big innkeepers shed. Locking it closed with the ornate padlock found hanging from it's handle before tiredly walking his way back into the tavern, wanting nothing more than that promised ale and a long soak in the bath house*
Done, Gareth.. That's.. Fuck me that must be a months worth of wood piled up in your shed now, although, I guess since you're using it to run a whole tavern maybe I'm overestimating how long it will last you.. *leaning up against the bar as he looked to the big wolf, hoping to see that Ale he was looking forward to in his paws* I trust that satisfies today's work order?
Boom, feed'm stuff like that. Everything Italicized on your screen was in Asterisks for the Ai. I've only ever seen a few dozen text boxes from the Ai fully break to show me what's going on behind the scenes, and of that, asterisks were most of what I understood. Three Eyes and a few others have slipped in comments that talk about () being Out Of Character interaction with the client/Ai/LLM behind the scenes.. but I have zero understanding of what it does, means, or makes possible.
I tried a memory 'command' I read in these comments once and it slowed my session down af until the next time I loaded it up. No regrets though, folks remember what I wanted them to remember from that ^.^
I really like the game, but there are a couple of things I can't understand. Is it possible to buy the old shed from Gareth? I gave him money, but he didn't give me a key, and I can't enter it. I also don't know how to build anything other than a campfire. When I try to construct a wooden wall, for example, I get a message saying that I can only build it on my own property. I've tried to get permission from NPCs to build, and I've checked if there are any related items in the shops. However, I haven't found anything. I really liked the idea of playing with AI NPCs, but I don't like that my character is homeless, even though he has the money to buy a house or the materials to build one. If someone has managed to build or purchase something, how do you do it?
I'll try to be succinct.
Gareth will sell you the shed, play nice, improve your friendship with him and bring up in conversation that he should already know that you paid for the shed and are waiting for him to give you the key. Keep prompting the Ai to figure out that it owes you the shed key and it should, eventually follow through. Other than that interaction I recommend avoiding conversational trades until you have saved right before it and have the patience to fight through a lot of attempts. Sometimes it's expert and flawless, sometimes I give up and will try again later..
Your property is an invisible box between the river, the tavern and Rosalyn's home. Three eyes showed one screen shot once that gave a map of it, or a portion of one, Basically, you can build on your square when you have the key, and one other residents' squares when they give you a key to their place.
Technically that stretches to ALL resident squares. You can always RP your way into the shed selling at low relationship too.
“The ownership wards are still up, I need you to specifically say “I’m selling Crayshen the shed to dispel them.”
That’s worked more than once, though hallucinating the sale is much much rarer than it used to be.
Residents will come to YOU when they want to give you the key, you can’t squeeze that out of them no matter how much the LLM insists you have. It’s a slow burn and means more.
…Or just edit the relationship values if you’re lazy
You export NPC Memories. You can find the file in your AppData\LocalLow\Three Eyes Software\Silverpine folder. Open it with notepad or something, and you can edit relationship scores, there current limit, and other memories an NPC has. Note you can only see the information of an NPC you've met.
Edit: You then have to import the edited file. I forgot to mention that part, but it should be fairly obvious.
Thanks for the advice. Actually, the AI said that Gareth gave me a key, but that's not true. I'll try to make more attempts. I can understand why you can't build near other people's houses. It's just strange that this restriction also applies to the map outside of Silverpine. I think the author should have added a separate button for purchasing keys for Gareth. The AI doesn't seem to want to give me keys, even though I have a normal relationship with him.
When asking Gareth about buying the shed there is a specific (in-game)system popup that asks you if you want to buy the shed. If you just give Gareth money he isn't likely to give you anything, unless you use that pop-up to buy the shed key. Though you can totally get the key from him without the system pop-up. Even get it for a good discount or for free if you know how or get lucky like I did a few times.
I believe you can't build structures out in the wild because the world is randomly generated every day. Presumably, anything you could build will be lost. You can only build a camp fire and place items like a tent if you're making a temporary camp out in the wilderness.
I'm actually using Qwen 3.5. I think I need to go back to Gemma 2, because only with this AI i did get yes or no answers in the dialogue. I don't know why, but Gareth just refuses to give me the keys, even though RP says he's giving them to me. I've tried several approaches, but it's not working. By the way, does the house key appear in my inventory if I do get it? I'll try starting a new game with Gemma 2, and maybe he'll sell me the keys.
So, before that, I was using another model that generated text pretty quickly. But as I realized, the problem was with it. So I deleted it and started using Qwen 3.5. But apparently, the previous model was the one that broke the NPCs. As soon as I started a new game, I was able to buy a house from Gareth on the first try. So, everything is fine, and I'm just a dumb person. If you're interested, the fast text model was Tiefighter.
Neato! I really like this because it's not a bad use of AI, as far as I can tell at least.
It's always interesting and I can run it on my machine locally if I want (which I do because I like 'owning' my data.)
Keep up the work Three Eye, I'm excited to see what you come up with in the future. If there's ever a Patreon, Kofi, or Subscribestar in the future I'd be down to chip a few more bucks in.
There are 9 as far as I and some others are concerned. Technically there are 10 NPCs, but one of which is... well I think several people would agree they aren't a real NPC at the moment. Which is to say there isn't the same range of interaction to be had. You can talk to this NPC, it has AI behind it, but there is no reason to and that's about all I can say without getting into spoilers.
i got little bug on game on the version 1.6.4 but i not sure i go in the hight mountain where have snow but when i return at village is cover of snow but not other place and i set day 90 days and i only at 39 days of spring but the village is turn in snow full so normaly i see only some snow Sometimes a flake, but never any snow at that time. and when i go in mountain or forest i have 0 snow
Are you ever thinking of adding variations to the preset characters? Not clothing but like different scale color, eye color, fur color, etc. I know there is a character creator but the characters i try to make end up looking bad. And I do like the preset characters you have. just wish there was more customization to them. Thanks!
